„Cottage is cozy and bed comfortable. Floor gritty from sand when arrived. Swept many times before went to beach ourselves but always felt gritty so we were tracking from outside into courtyard area. Has faint musty smell when entering in kitchen. Nothing unbearable and being close to water it is a common issue. Could use some updating but they did add microwave. I read some complaints about that. My only other suggestion would be a keurig but we brought our own mini. They have a coffee maker. ...

„This is a beautiful little beach cottage situated just 2 1/2 blocks from a lovely beach! It was easy to check in and the neighborhood was quiet with the exception of airplanes which we easily drown out by leaving the bathroom fan on! We visited the zoo, Balboa Park museums, Point Loma Tide Pools , Cabrillo National Monument, and of course, the beach! My only complaint is that our stay was too short!“

The cottage was a great location to be able to visit colleges and get an idea of what it could be like to live in the San Diego area. The cottage itself was walkable to restaurants, the beach and markets and centrally located to visit other areas by car. While there is noise from the airport and the street, it didn't bother us as we took it to be part of the city ...
