Traveled here for my bachelorette party and was beyond impressed with everything about this property! Check in was easy, the house was clean & one of the best parts was being able to all hang out in the living room/kitchen area to cook and have meals together!

The Best

We’re a family of 16: 8 adults and 8 children ages 3-13. This is our 3rd summer to rent a house together. Everyone said that the Hilltop Farmhouse is the best house we have ever rented. The pool was the highlight and it was so nice to swim without the bright sun. The kitchen is amazing with a commercial grade refrigerator and a regular refrigerator. The living area is perfect for a large group with great seating for all. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the beds very comfortable. The surrounding area is so nice. No one wanted to leave!!

My daughter chose this property for the indoor pool, and it absolutely delivered. The pool was beautiful, well-maintained, and kept the kids entertained and active throughout our stay. The house itself was spotless and even more spacious than we expected. The kitchen and living areas had plenty of room for meals, movie nights, and just relaxing together.The entire property felt peaceful and secluded, making it a perfect escape. One of our favorite parts was walking the scenic trails every day—it was truly refreshing. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, any of the properties here would be a great choice.The owner was also incredibly kind and even let my kids explore the nearby castle, which made their trip even more memorable. They’re already excited to come back and plan our next adventure!

Great property for a family gathering/reunion/bonding

I was extremely pleased when we got to the property and saw how wonderful it was. Everything was pristine and clean. I was shocked at all the amenities in the kitchen, including griddles extra coffee pots utensils pans everything you really need, down to the strainers. This was a really wonderful stay. The indoor pool was phenomenal heated so nicely. The babies loved it and the kids stayed in the pool so much of the time even though the weather outside wasn’t cooperating we had the game room as well with the pool table and we brought some board games although there were some there on the property. I highly recommend this property.

The host (Matt) was great. When we arrived we got an overview of the house and he made everything super easy. Communication was excellent as well. There were 17 of us but did not seem crowded and everyone had a good time. Kids especially loved the pool.

LaRosa Family Weekend

The house was very fun! We had room for 14 of us. The older kids liked that there was a tv in each bedroom. The pool was the perfect temperature and we all had a great time swimming. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots for everything we needed.

We had a great time. Bedroom temperature was a little warm not able to control it. But, the family had a wonderful time. It snowed in the early morning and to look out and see 4 doe and 1 buck standing in the yard was picture perfect. Beauitiful.

Great Family Getaway Location

We had a wonderful time staying here. The host (Matt) was great. When we arrived we got an overview of all the fun features of the house and he made everything super easy. Communication was excellent as well; there was snow while we visited (an unexpected bonus!) and he kept us informed about the removal timeline AND provided some local restaurant recommendations. The house itself was AMAZING! Plenty of space for everyone to hang out either in the large living room, game room, or pool house yet it still had a cozy feeling. Can't say enough good things about the overall property and experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to get away and relax. Thank you!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilltop Farmhouse. The bedrooms and common areas were enough for all 16 of us (plus baby and two pets), and we all love the pool! I especially love the gardens, great for bird watching! Matt was very responsive every time we contact him, thank you Matt! A few suggestions: 1) Earlier check-in, say 3pm instead of 4pm 2) Add a step by the living room sliding door leading to the barbeque area as this was a bit of a drop. 3) Have large capacity pots/pans (we had to use two pans to cook for our group) These are just suggestions and does not take away from the fantastic experience we had with this property.

Excellent family stay!

Rented the property recently with whole family. The house is big enough for 15 people, very clean. Beds are super comfortable. The pool is super clean and warm temperature. The probably overall has perfect location, you can hike or relax outside. Owners are super friendly and will answer all your questions Definitely will book again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Fantastic girls weekend

We had an amazing time at hilltop farmhouse. We had our annual family girls weekend. The house has fantastic amenities and the pool was absolutely perfect! Plenty of bedrooms for everyone and Matt was absolutely fantastic to work with! He met us at the house and showed us around. The only thing I would mention is bring some extra blankets with you as they didn’t have any in the house. Highly recommend!

I rented two properties, the Mansion and the Farmhouse for two nights. My three married children, 19 grandchildren (that’s including spouses ) and 7 great grandchildren had the most amazing time. Plenty of room for everyone and lots to keep everyone busy and happy. Can’t wait to be able to do it again

Perfect Getaway in the Poconos

We went to the Farmhouse for our son’s birthday celebration and it was perfect for him and some of his friends. The pool was amazing! (you do have to walk a couple of feet outdoors from one sliding door to the other sliding door to get to the pool. It wasn’t a big deal for the boys.) The pool house was nice and warm and so was the pool. The game room was great and they had plenty of board games to play as well as the pool table and all the tv’s. The boys enjoyed watching football in the house. The owner was super nice and accommodating. Our son said the house was better than what he expected from the online pictures. There was plenty of space for the 14 of us. It is very close to Narrowsburg, NY which is a quaint little town with a coffee shop, pizza place, grocery store. All of us had a great time and I would highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed by all ages

We had a fabulous time. The kitchen/dining area is great for large groups, with 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, and 2 tables. The living room with fireplace is small but beautiful. The heated pool was fabulous, enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The sauna in the master bedroom is infrared not regular sauna and quite small, which we were a bit disappointed by. One of the bedrooms is directly off of the kitchen/dining area, so not for light sleepers since there are always people in the common area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come back.
