This stay could have been better. First, our check in time was supposed to be after 3pm. We arrived after 4pm and housekeeping had just finished but didn't return the keys to the lockbox so we had to contact the host to find out how to get in. The whole building is under construction and scaffolding covers the entire outside with netting and banners, so there is no view at all from the balcony. No one told us about the scaffolding or the completely blocked view from the balcony. The worst thing was that the back door handle was broken - which they told me about when I called to try to get into the place. They said they would send someone to fix it, but never did. Consequently, the back door was open - not just unlocked, but stuck physically open because you couldn't retract the lock with no handle and the lock sticking out blocked the door from closing. The entire time, the door remained open and unlocked - 24 hours a day. The apartment is on the 11th floor so normally that wouldn't be that big of a deal other than cold or hot getting in - but in this circumstance, the scaffolding was literally at the balcony and anyone could get onto the balcony from the scaffolding walkway and enter through the open door. It was less than safe. The exhaust over the range did not work. The bed in the 2nd bedroom is very small. The beds were comfortable enough. There was a tea kettle and a microwave. So that was nice. The place was clean. I wouldn't stay there again.
