Dear Hotel Management Team,
I am writing to formally report a very disappointing experience during my stay at your hotel. From shuttle pickup through checkout, the level of service fell well below expectations.
At check-in, the front desk staff member was preoccupied and inattentive. When I attempted to locate my rewards account and explained that my sisters were ready to go to the room while I completed check-in, the staff member simply pointed to the keys on the desk. We were not provided basic welcome information—no room number, no directions, and no explanation of hotel amenities.
Once in the room, my sister took a shower shortly after 4:00 p.m. and reported that the water was cold. I attempted to shower about an hour later and experienced the same issue. I contacted the front desk, and maintenance was sent to the room. Despite checking the water, the issue was treated as if nothing were wrong, even though we clearly stated the water was not even lukewarm. Maintenance had to be contacted again, and it took several hours before the hotel finally agreed to move us to another room.
The replacement room was noticeably better—it had proper hot water, a larger television, a larger refrigerator, and included body wash and shampoo, which were missing from the original room. This inconsistency raises serious concerns about room standards and quality control.
