« Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not…it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but…gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days....

« This was such a gem to find in Central Fl. We were visiting family in the area and wanted a place close by. We loved our stay here. It was close to delicious restaurants and fun activities. We visited Rainbow Springs State Park and enjoyed the day in the beautiful natural springs. We even came home to gorgeous sunsets on the lake and caught 2 fish! The hot tub was relaxing and the vibes were right! I would definitely recommend staying here, everything was perfectly clean and so beautifully...

« The listing indicated the rental was a house. However it is almost a studio apartment attached to a house.The space itself was clean and convenient for my overnight stay. Future renters should be aware there are dogs on the property that are quite vocal and the refrigerator is dorm sized but cold. »

« Cute little place, had everything we needed. Little firepit, private dock with canoes and fishing poles. We really enjoyed the direct water access to the small lake. There were some ground hornets while launching the boat which we informed owner of so they can address that. Owner was very responsive to questions. I was a little nervous about the neighborhood driving in but nobody bothered us. The entire property was fenced so my pup could enjoy the yard with privacy fence on the 2 sides. It’s...

« This property is all that it advertises. We could not be more happy with our choice to stay. The house and property are quiet and relaxing. We loved hanging out on the dock during the day and evening. We enjoyed kayaking and exploring north and south of this river front cabin. »

« We were visiting family in The Villages and needed a place to stay. We enjoyed the spacious yet compact space—living area, kitchen, bedroom, bath with large shower, walk in closet and laundry room. We parked in the driveway but that was the only space to be outside at this time. It was fine as we were mostly with family elsewhere. »

« Everything you would need except a dishwasher. Fortunately it was only me. Otherwise, dishes could be a bit of a hassle with no dish rack/drying area. I still enjoyed the use of it for what I was there to do. Large TV’s in every room and great Wi-Fi. As far as the property manager goes, if you mean the host, he lives across the street and was very helpful. The contact people from the website are absolutely useless if you have a question. I received not one single response. »

« This was our first stay on Rainbow River. I'm not sure if it was all of the amenities or the host (Chaz) that was the highlight of the trip, but both were fantastic. We messaged him on the second day (in the morning) to ask some advice about how best to take advantage of uitlizing KP Hole with the equipment he has at the rental. He not only answered immediately, he provided us with information that helped us have an amazing day on the water and also saved us noticable money in the long run. ...
