The Space:
Moraea Farm is immersive by design — a timeless farmhouse reimagined through layered textures, marble surfaces, rich tones, recycled timbers and bold detailing, creating a setting that feels both grounded and expressive. Five king bedrooms are privately positioned throughout the home, each featuring an ensuite bathroom, private balcony, bar fridge, tea station, 32-inch TV and air-conditioning for personal comfort. Adjoining one of the king bedrooms is a bunk room, offering a flexible configuration for families.

Designed to balance private retreat with communal gathering, the heart of the farmhouse centres around a generous living space anchored by a fireplace and 65-inch TV, alongside a long dining table seating up to 12 guests and a fully equipped kitchen designed for shared meals and extended stays. Dining has been thoughtfully curated in partnership with Villeroy & Boch, with tableware and cutlery specifically selected to complement the home’s architecture and material palette. These pieces form part of the residence’s permanent collection and are provided for guest enjoyment throughout your stay.

Outdoors, Moraea unfolds across five acres of working farmland and landscaped gardens, where Highland cows, goats and sheep graze nearby, while chickens roam through the edible gardens. The wellness zone includes a traditional electric hot rock sauna, cold plunge, eight-person hot tub and heated swimming pool with sun lounges. A gas pizza oven and infrared BBQ create a natural setting for long evenings outdoors beneath open skies.

Expressive yet relaxed, Moraea Farm is ideally suited to families, retreats and groups seeking meaningful connection without compromise. Guests can also book a private animal feeding experience with the farm manager, offering the opportunity to hand-feed the resident Highland cows, goats, sheep and chickens.

Guests are welcome to collect any fresh eggs available in the carton at the chicken coop. To keep our chickens calm and comfortable, please enjoy watching them from outside their enclosure. Our edible gardens supply fresh produce for Sara Dining and are reserved for the restaurant team.

The culinary heart of the Linnaeus Collection. Sara Dining, our restaurant located at Moraea Farm, delivers world-class dining experiences, recognised with two chef’s hats in the Good Food Guide 2027. Celebrating the finest local produce, Sara Dining creates seasonal, produce-driven menus. The restaurant was also named a finalist for New Restaurant of the Year and Regional Restaurant of the Year. Open Thursday to Monday, bookings are essential.

Private dining is available now from Sara Dining for Linnaeus guests by prior arrangement, offering a bespoke, in-residence experience, please ask for more information.

Please note that Sara Dining is located adjacent to the house, and restaurant patrons may be nearby. While the gardens continue to mature and provide greater privacy, parts of the backyard, including the pool area, may be visible from the public gardens and dining areas.
