« Clean, comfortable room with a well kitted out ensuite bathroom. Room had the normal tea and coffee facilities, but also had a jar of biccies and a small fridge for fresh milk, not the tiny UHT cartons. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location by the beach. Small on site car park, but also on street parking available if its full. »

« A 200 year old pub and inn - interesting ! Unfortunately our room was fairly horrible, we definitely got the hotels.com room : 200 year old mattress, wall view, kitchen vents under the window and lots of noise when we (or the neighbours) ran any water. Food in the evening was good and breakfast ok (very dingy dining room). Everything needs an overhaul. The staff were great though ! »

« Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. »

« Super accueil chaleureux et très humain. Chambre propre et sans aucune faute. La peinture dans la salle de bain est à revoir pour que ça fasse plus neuf. Nous avons passé une très belle nuit. »
