« A 200 year old pub and inn - interesting ! Unfortunately our room was fairly horrible, we definitely got the hotels.com room : 200 year old mattress, wall view, kitchen vents under the window and lots of noise when we (or the neighbours) ran any water. Food in the evening was good and breakfast ok (very dingy dining room). Everything needs an overhaul. The staff were great though ! »

« Really nice apartment in a great location to the square. Close by to the bars, cafes, restaurants and also not far from the Castle and main roads to get into Kelso. Check in was easy as the owner sent us details of how to get in and everything was very straight forward. Rooms were comfy, well decorated and it was a fantastic space overall. Genuinely felt really cosy and at home as soon as we entered, and it was especially great to have so much storage space including a walk in wardrobe. ...

« The property was in the perfect location. Very central within a few minutes walk to the central square, restaurants, bars, theatre, shops. Bus stop right outside with the service covering up & down the coast. It was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Toiletries were provided as were tea and coffee facilities. The host was lovely. »

Le prix est beaucoup trop élevé par rapport à ce qui offert.Très petite salle de toilette avec moquette au sol; lavabo dans la chambre. Longs délais avant de pouvoir obtenir de l'eau chaude. Mauvais éclairage partout. Moquette sale et usée. Pas de place pour circuler au pied du lit. Pas de chauffage la nuit. Pas de place pour les valises. Pas de séchoir à cheveux même si...

« Hotel is welcoming, people are nice and Professional. Room was comfy, super clean, free spot for the car, breakfast so British (really liked it). I felt like a "guest" & not like a random room number, I really appreciated it. Plus we can have a dinner at the Blue bell restaurant nearby (plus free wifi) at a very moderate price. Defo go for it, won't regret it !!! »

« My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Beds were excellent and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Parking was easy. Liz was very responsive to any questions we had. And the lounge was a perfect place to relax after a day out. We were only 2 but 4 people would be very comfortable. Jean »

« A une bonne heure d'Edimbourg en pleine campagne mais pas loin de la mer cette petite maison cosy est bien équipée et confortable. Excellent accueil et charmantes attentions. Voiture indispensable. Quelques jolis lieux à découvrir pas très loin comme le château de Bamburgh. »
