Spend the morning hiking to waterfalls, the afternoon on the ORV trails of the Northwoods, and the evening with your entire crew around a fire while the kids have disappeared into a three-room indoor play zone. Powderhorn Hideaway is a 4-bedroom UP Michigan retreat built for groups who want adventure over screens — a Jura pulling espresso, Northern Lights on clear nights, and more to do inside than outside.

THE KITCHEN & LIVING: Exposed vertical log walls from the original 1800s homestead anchor a kitchen no new construction can replicate. Concrete countertops, blue cabinetry, stainless appliances, long prep counter — built for groups. A pellet stove, timber beams, and a carved wooden archway connect everything from old to new.



THE COFFEE BAR: Dedicated espresso bar with a Jura machine stocked for the stay, wine fridge, and has so much character! Morning coffee before the trailhead hits differently.



Upstairs, A hidden passage opens to two spaces of kids' world no other UP Michigan cabin can match:

• Space room Planetarium, — hand-painted star ceiling mural, working constellation projector

• Game loft — Catan, Monopoly, Scrabble, and more



THE BEDROOMS (4 total, sleeps 12-16, depending how many littles):

• Primary suite — king bed, TV, blackout curtains, floor-length mirror

• Second king suite — king bed, TV, blackout curtains, floor-length mirror

• Double bedroom — two double beds, great light (sleeps 4)

• Kids area — 8 singles built into the play zone level



THE BATHROOMS:1st floor bath with stone tile , Walk in shower and burnt wood details. Spacious second bath with agate tile, round mirror, gold sconces.



THE PLAY ZONE:

• Climbing wall — real holds, monkey bars, a slide, hammock netting, — and the ultimate fort-building space complete with over 14 sets Figgy mattresses.



Washer/dryer. Starlink WiFi. Smart TVs with streaming throughout. BBQ grill on-site. Fire pit. Pack 'n Play available. Pets welcome ($50/pet per stay).
