„We would totally recommend this property to anyone. It was the perfect fit for two families. The rooms are huge and basically their own suites which worked well for all of our range of kids and also privacy for the adults. The view from the house and pool are incredible! „Alex, the property manager was fantastic. I recommend getting What’s App and he will be very responsive. He lives upstairs. There are 3 bedrooms with 3 baths. 2 of the baths are down an outdoor breezeway but very close. Great patio area. BBS Bar next door has great good food and is over the ocean, wonderful! Good beach close. Walk around island is interesting as you get to see the locals who are very friendly. Bring bug spray!“

„Der Aufenthalt war ok, aber man muss sich klar sein, dass es sich um ein Holzhaus mit zwei Wohneinheiten handelt. Das Haus ist völlig ungedämmt und man bekommt von den Mitbewohnern alles mit. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Bad siffig und die Toilette absolut ekelig. Selbst die Traumlage und das Angebot eines Ausgleichs dafür konnten uns dafür nicht entschädigen.“

„Remote and quiet place away from the maddening crowds and noise. Great for relaxing and snorkeling. The water is warm, clear and very safe to swim in. (apart from couple of hours of wind it was like a mirror - no waves and smooth) There is a narrow band of coral in front of the villas with many colorful fish. „Tolle Unterkunft. Leider aber war aber die Küche völlig unbrauchbar da sie sie von Küchenschaben übernommen wurde, sehr schmutzig war und der Herd erst gar nicht funktioniert hat. Leider war der Pool ebenfalls schlecht gereinigt und das Wasser so trüb dass man ihn auch nicht nutzen konnte. Der Rest, die Lage, der Garten etc. War top.“

Host was very communicative, and property manager was on site in a separate home and assisted us immediately when we had any questions. „Our stay at Urraca Private Island is the most awesome, memorable lodging experience we’ve had (and that’s saying a lot, because we travel frequently and have had many fantastic experiences). "We didn't like the accommodation at all. It was always loud because the bar was right next to the pool, and lots of people from outside came there to party. The pool was incredibly small and looked bigger. Furthermore, the hotel didn't mind even having a dog in the pool drooling all over the water. I found it disgusting. Also, it wasn't possible to swim in the sea.It looks like there's a stretch of beach there from the pictures, but reception also told us we couldn't go into the sea. There were no chairs on the balcony, only one uncomfortable hanging chair, and a second one was torn down. When we asked for two chairs, we were simply told no, because guests were always throwing them off the balcony...We wanted to leave two days early because everything wasn't as expected and as depicted in the pictures. We clarified the matter with Expedia, and if the manager agreed, we were told we'd get our money back. We even found a replacement on-site and went to reception with him. Afterward, the manager lied to Expedia, and we didn't get a cent back. And the hotel even charged us twice. In our opinion, we wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"Es ist ein grauenhaftes Hotel. Auf gar keine Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Nichts was dort angeboten wird, hat Bestand. Weder der Pool der völlig verdreckt ist noch gibt es eine Spiel Ecke für Kinder. Einfach nur eine pure Enttäuschung dieses Hotel. "

"Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit hier. Die Zimmer sind schön, der Spa Bereich ausserordentlich und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Obwohl das Hotel voll ausgebucht war, gibt es genug Platz für alle Gäste und es herrscht eine angenehme Ruhe. Das Restaurant und Frühstück war auch sehr gut, einzig am Kaffee kann man noch etwas arbeiten."
