„This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Chesterfield near shops, the Market, restaurants and pubs. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with excellent coffee ‘on tap’ and dined in the simple but delicious in house restaurant nearly every night. They have a decent Happy Hour in their small bar too. We shall be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Chesterfield “

„Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall ...

„Das Hotel lag für uns sehr praktisch. Wir waren zum Fußball hier und die Bramell Lane war zu Fuß gefühlt direkt neben an. Wir hatten nach dem Spiel einen Fußweg von ca. 5 Minuten. Auch für die Stadtbesichtigung liegt es sehr günstig. Denn das Hotel liegt direkt am Stadtkern.“

Reception is fully automated (no dedicated reception staff) but housekeeping and pub staff can provide some assistance. Ideal location for Chatsworth and the surrounding area.“

„Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Alle waren hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir hätten uns jedoch über eine insgesamt größere Auswahl beim Frühstück gefreut. Das Angebot an Brot, Aufschnitt, Marmelade etc war ein wenig klein. Wir würden aber auf jeden Fall nochmal hier ein Zimmer buchen!“
