« A really lovely quiet hotel, there arent many in the area. All very clean, lovely bedroom and superb breakfast with a friendly smile. Checkin was smooth and the lady was really friendly and showed me to my room and also served me a few well poured guinness later that evening. Thank you i will certainly stay again. They didn't serve an evening meal but plenty of options not too far away. »

« Very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and made me feel welcome. Room was spotlessly clean but dated with loads of character. Some noise from the bar downstairs, but I wasn't bothered by that as you would expect it being a busy restaurant on a main road. Very quiet after closing time and road was quite as well. Good value for money. »

« Fantastic public house which serves great food. There is not much to do in the surrounding Area but its a great place to meet up with friends or family and dine together. Rooms are failrly reasonably priced and clean. Shame there isnt an option for breakfast. »

Un personnel charmant et à l'écoute, un "english breakfest" copieux, la possibilité de manger sur place le soir et de profiter de l'ambiance "Pub" si britannique bref un endroit à recommander. Surtout ne pas chercher à entrer en voiture A Durham le "park and ride" est très bon marché et le bus vous dépose en plein centre ville (pour 2 £ par jour) »

« Harold gave us a very warm welcome and showed us into the house which we found to be a lovely comfortable, warm and well equipped guest house at Warlands Farm. It was great to also have the use of the spacious lounge and kitchen/dining room. We found the house bright and clean, with a newly refurbished interior. We loved watching the free range chickens in the garden..The farmhouse is in lovely countryside and is also very convenient if you plan to visit the Beamish museum which is 10 just...

« Struggled to get into place. Details sent hours before arrival after I chased them up. Couldn’t find key lock cos it was on front door which was in total darkness. Local guy used his key to let me in. No heating working. Freezing cold in room. Lights not working in kitchen nor toilet/bathroom so couldn’t see to pee »

« Brunswick House is a beautiful B&B which is the perfect mix of homely and modern. It has absolutely everything you might need, including an amazing breakfast selection all cooked fresh! The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a parking space (it is a tight alley to get to the car park just be aware!) »

« Absolutely wonderful place. Very comfortable room, toiletries is bathroom, all the tea, coffee and hot chocolate you want. Great sized TV as well as desk and comfy chair. Beautifully decorated. Fridge, microwave, plates etc. in downstairs hall as well as extra sugar, tea etc. Lots of parking. Absolutely loved it. Handy for beach , fish and chip shops, ice cream etc. 10 minutes drive to Hartlepool. Excellent. »
