« The hiking above Mii Dera temple was amazing. A lot of hiking options for outdoor enthusiasts. The Mii Dera temple is also not crowded and a joy to stroll around 20 minutes walk from hotel koo. »

« First of all, you must be charmed by the decoration and personality on display at Koke-Musu-inn. The place is alive with character.
Then the staff welcomes you with their own charm and the package is complete. I found the care taken to provide a comfortable stay very impressive.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained throughout my stay, and the location was great! I was glad to have found an easily accessible stopping point outside of Kyoto city. Much easier to decompress at night. I look...

« Truly one of the best stays of all my travels. It was personalised to every detail, from the moment we entered as we got to chose our welcome drink to the luggage delivery service with extra attention in the end. The location was precious, very historical and quite private, while the amenities were unexpectedly very modern. The staff were beyond adorable and extremely helpful; Shinyi and Sae are very caring and we already miss them! Having the breakfast served in the room was also great. This...

« I highly recommend staying here over a standard hotel room. The owners do not speak English (which is perfectly fine, but I know some people are shocked when Japanese locals only speak Japanese lol). What I loved most is how convenient the location is. There is a vending machine on one end of the street, and a bus stop on the other. Additionally, the property itself is very pretty and well-maintained. It also includes a washer/dryer which is VERY useful! The only potential downside is that the...

« The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older... »
