We had a wonderful stay with our extended family! The views were breathtaking, and the house was well taken care of. We would definitely stay there again.

Peace and quiet, Mountain views!!! Nature all around! House was clean and comfortable. Great communication with host. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house with amazing views

This house was everything they promised! It was beautiful and comfortable for our family of 5 adults. The kitchen was very well appointed. Everyone raved about how comfortable the beds were. We hope to be back again.

Awesome stay!!!

Would recommend this property while traveling with a group! It has all the amaneties that are needed to enjoy the stay. The location is convenient for grocery shopping and also about 45min to wolf ski resort. It is a bit tricky to arrive to the property google maps did not take us to the property but iPhone maps did take us directly.

Excellent house in the trees. The pictures don’t do it justice. Loved the mid century modern style. House was well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful Views & Bears

Gorgeous views off of the decks and out the huge windows. We had several occasions when bears walked by the house; absolutely amazing. The accommodations were perfect for our family and conveniently located near downtown Black Mountain restaurants, hiking in Montreat, and close enough to get into Asheville for. Couple excursions. Hope to be back!

Wonderful view!!

The view is spectacular! The beds are very comfy. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean. Plenty of room to spread out if needed, but a large table and couch for togetherness. It’s a little challenging to find the first time, but easy after that. Convenient to all in Black Mountain and a short drive to Asheville.

Everything I had hoped it would be and more

Great location, excellent views, brilliantly stylized to the era of the home. We were 2 couples visiting in June for a long weekend. It was located within 30 min of the things we were interested in. Everything is as advertised, the views were spectacular, the vibe of the home was great. I liked that there were 3 rooms with king sized beds and the deck was the perfect place for our morning coffee. We also grilled out on the deck one evening and took in a spectacular sunset with our dinner. There was more space than we needed and well priced for the amount of people it could accommodate. We arrived in the dark and would recommend a daytime arrival as we took a couple of short wrong turns because we couldn't see anything. Once we had our bearings it was not difficult to find the place, especially with daylight. I have rented with Vacasa before and would definitely do it again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. We used the kitchen quite a bit and the dishwasher was terrific, good oven as well. The grill could probably use a good cleaning, had a surprise flare up which nearly ruined our steaks, but luckily it was caught in timeManagement company was awesome, great communication, clear direction, prompt service when we had a minor issue with a clogged toilet. Highly recommend and would use them again.

Dirty sheets and they never came and changed them

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house and the location, but we were absolutely disgusted with a fresh bodily fluid stain on the bedsheets. We reached out the first night when we found it. We were told someone would come change out all of the sheets if we wanted, and of course we said yes. They never came and changed the sheets, and finally on night 3 we laundered the sheets (other guests did as well because who knows if any of the sheets were clean), and the stain came right out. This is awful. We asked for money back and they never responded. They at the very least could have had an extra set of clean king sized sheets in the house and we would have changed them out. Also, we have pictures of the dirty sheets that we shared with them but they didn’t seem to care. There were also a lot of bugs and they said it had recently been treated for bugs. Though we understand that bugs are inevitable, to find a handful in the first hour we got there is not welcoming. And one more thing, the upstairs tubs barely drained, so therefore we had to shower in basically dirty bath water.

Perfect Mountain View

We`ll be back!!

This spectacular home is exactly as the photos show! Spacious, clean, well-appointed with beautiful views from the deck as well as from the couch. Four large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 large living areas were perfect for my group. Minutes from the quaint town of Black Mountain and a few minutes more to Asheville. Close to hiking, shopping and everything we needed. I highly recommend! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
