Rooms were dusty, dead lady bugs along door to patio, no shampoo/conditioner/body wash in bathroom, no microwave, no coffee maker in room. Hotel was a ghost town, ZERO housekeeping staff the entire weekend (confirmed by front desk worker), snack restaurant in pool area was permanently closed and was not noted on booking, bees were in the pool area (we saw a minimum of ten floating in the pools). Half the games in the arcade were out of order, the restaurant in the main hall had ONE employee working - when we tried to order pizza for lunch we were informed he (said lone worker) was the only person taking orders and making food and he had about TWENTY pizzas before our order so we couldn’t even eat at the resort the entire weekend. Snack at front are OLD, check the expiration date before eating if you order any of the severely overpriced items from there. Heat in rooms were funky, either super hot or super cold. No luggage carriers at the door off the parking ramp, poor signage on how to navigate inside the resort (elevator didn’t even list what floor each thing was on). Oh the elevator! Shakes like the heavens are opening when going up or down, terrifying.
Front desk staff we kind but frank. “We have no house keeping staff, we are doing the best we can.” Staffing issues are the worse and difficult to navigate - however it’s still your responsibility to make it right. At check out we requested a refund and were told they would call us back in a week and never did
