Pros:
*Great Location: Perfectly located near Brasstown Bald, Vogel State Park, Tallulah Gorge, Blue Ridge, Helen, etc.
*Secluded but Accessible: Offers seclusion while being close to the main road to downtown Blairsville, GA.
*Spacious Deck with a View: The large deck provides beautiful views, both inside and out. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and spotted deer on the property.
*Effective Air Conditioning: The air conditioning kept the cabin comfortable throughout our stay.
Cons:
*Misleading Photos: The listing photos are misleading; the living room and kitchen are quite small. Despite three floors, each is compact. The space felt tight even for two people and a dog.
*Limited Space for Families: The main areas of the house are small, and it would feel cramped for families.
*Understocked Kitchen: The kitchen wasn’t as well-stocked as other rentals we've stayed at. The dull knives made meal prep frustrating.
*Uncovered Deck: The deck, though spacious, lacks covering, making outdoor dining impractical in the rain.
*Steep Basement Stairs: The stairs to the basement are very steep, which made it hard for our dog to access. There’s no direct exit from the basement, where the whirlpool is, to the yard, which baffled us.
*Unexpected Security Cameras: The listing didn’t mention cameras on the property. We wouldn’t have rented if we’d known. After a couple of days, the owners turned them off at our request, which we appreciated.
Overall, great trip. Karla was great.
