With 2,000 square feet of living space, Sweetwater Cottage comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, with a maximum of 6 adults. The home was completely renovated in 2021 and features modern lake-house style, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful amenities throughout.

Every bedroom has sliding glass doors opening onto the covered lake-view porch, giving guests beautiful views and easy access to the outdoors.

Dog lovers are welcome at Sweetwater Cottage! Dogs are welcome with advance disclosure at the time of booking and payment of the applicable pet fee.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, pets must follow the property's house rules, including being crated or otherwise safely secured whenever guests leave the property.

To make your dog's stay more comfortable, we provide:

## Bring Your Boat

A pontoon boat is not included with the rental, but boat rentals are available from local marinas and North Georgia Watersports.

The private dock provides convenient access to Lake Nottely for guests bringing or renting a boat.

## Security Cameras

For the safety and security of our guests and property, exterior security cameras are located at the locked garage and exterior areas of the property.

There are no cameras inside the living spaces.

## Fireplace Policy

The interior gas fireplace may be used during cooler months from October 1 through April 30 when outdoor temperatures are below 65°F and heating is needed.

The fireplace may not be used during the summer months or while the air conditioning is running. This helps maintain comfortable indoor humidity levels and prevents unnecessary strain on the HVAC system.

## Before You Book

Upon confirmed booking, guests will receive a secure link from Happy Guest. This is not an app; it is a secure website used for required ID verification, rental agreement signature, and access to the home guide and important stay information.

### Damage Protection

All reservations require guests to select one of the following:

* A temporary $1,500 credit card authorization hold. This is a temporary hold, not a traditional security deposit.
* Damage waiver protection purchased through Happy Guest ($69)

### Smart Home & Security

The property is equipped with a smart-home security system designed to provide added safety and peace of mind during your stay. The system monitors for fire, smoke, carbon monoxide, water leaks, and other potential issues.

Several highly visible exterior security cameras are located around the property, along with one camera inside the garage and a Ring doorbell used for emergency assistance. There are no cameras inside the living areas of the home.

Guests receive a unique smart-home access code for their stay.
