« We loved the outdoor space, location near the Queen Charlotte Track and the snooker table! It was our first time playing snooker. There is room to spread out, but the bedrooms were tight. Unfortunately, there were no outlets in the bathroom. Not a big thing, but something we noticed and were aware of. We appreciated that they were environmentally aware and made it easy for us to participate. We would return in a heartbeat! »

Wendy est une personne généreuse qui nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et qui nous a donné de bons conseils de visites. La maison est magnifique, tout confort et très bien équipée. De plus, elle est entourée par un immense jardin très agréable. Notre seul regret c'est de n'avoir pas eu assez de temps pour pouvoir échanger avec Wendy. »

« The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. It requires a little bit of off grid savvy but nothing even this 60 year old New Yorker couldn’t learn in seconds. The view is absolutely stunning, the house is quite comfortable. « The house is very well equipped and is private. Awesome deck which looks out to bush and a reserve. The beds are very hard, which was the only down fall for us. If you like a hard bed then the house is perfect. »

« Blue cod off jetty, shark and stingray cruising by. Amazing forest walks. Bathroom was not so clean and bbq so dirty it caught fire but we cleaned it and carried on. It was well worth it!!! »

« Great place to stay for a long weekend getaway. House is very cool with lots of space to play and have quiet time if needed. Lovely big lawn to activities, kayaks and dinghy were great. Lots of toys books and dvds for rainy days. Pretty much all bases are covered! Such a special place highly recommend. »

Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together.
