I have stayed with this Othello every year for 10 years. It’s always been great. Even though they are renovating, it was clean and convenient. I can’t wait to see the finished remodel on my next years trip

Property was under construction I asked for easily accessible room for my mother, they changed us to a different room, which was hard to find due to construction. By the time we found it they called and said we had to come back because we booked it 3rd party. Back to old room. Not a happy camper

Check in was a snap. They are doing some remodeling but it was no big deal. Room was fantastic. Bed was nice and comfy. Will definitely stay again.

They had hotel tore up had to walk over sheetrock in floors it stinked of paint and sealant smell so bad they moved us to another room but all the beating and banging from construction we got no rest..i would like a refund personally. Hotel in terrible shape due to construction

Nice hotel
Front desk staff was friendly. Hotel being renovated so there was plastic on the hallway carpet but our room was nicely decorated. Bed was a little too soft for my liking. Grab and go breakfast was not very good. Overall would stay here again though.

Bed bugs!
The Hotel was under renovation which is fine, but there were issues. There were mattresses in the hall up against the wall where guests could see them as you walked to your room. The room itself didn't smell clean and definitely wasn't. It was late and we were going to try to just deal with it as it was just a night. When pulling the sheets back, it was discovered there were bed bugs! One went crawling across the sheet. Completely grossed out, i went to the front desk, to let them know and get a full refund as I wasn't going to stay. Much to my surprise, they were not shocked by the bed bugs and said it was only that room and they have a lot of construction workers come and go. Because I booked through Hotels.com. The hotel itself couldn't refund my money, but Jeff stepped up and called and got the ball rolling and the refund was issued. He gave us a bag to put our clothes in that were exposed to the bed bugs. I dont recommend staying here.

Two guys were cooking out of a pot at the back door where we were directed to enter. Smelly and messy. Room is not very well insulated; no soundproofing. Could hear people talking late at night. Took us more than an hour to get breakfast; delayed our road trip. No salt on table. Jelly containers stuck to plastic dispenser. Old? Poor inattentive service; had to ask to order breakfast; then had to wait 40 minutes while other customers who arrived after us were served first. Vending machines empty. Not worth $175 per night. Worst experience in many years of road trips.

What a disappointment .
My husband and I were extremely upset when we arrived at the hotel. Indoor pool and 50 rooms were under construction, they put us in a room over this area and it was nothing but dust, everywhere. My husband brushed against the railing and his shirt was black from it. Our room had a used bath towel on the back of the door in bathroom, there was no toliet paper, dust on counters and the floors looked like they had not been mopped. I expected a lot better of Holiday Inn. I would also like to have been advised of the construction so that I could make the decision if I wanted to stay there.

The 3rd party reservation should have informed you the hotel was under renovation. It is on our web site and they have been informed. We apologize for the dust in your room and the condition of the room. Unfortunately, it is difficult to try and stay ahead of the dust. We have dismissed the housekeeper. Yes, should receive better service.

Coming off the I-55 ramp going north, it was a little confusing on how to get to hotel. My map directions with address actually took me to exit 63 and we got lost in downtown where it says we were at hotel and no Holiday INN was there. So we stopped at midnight asking for directions and finally realized we were at wrong exit so I would check on that.

We've stayed her a few years back and loved it, but this time around our room was not well cleaned. Hair in sink, hair on wall of shower, strange substance on wall, powder on carpet, etc.

It was what i expect at a holiday Inn Express, I'm an IHG member. BUT, im pretty sure i got bed bug bites here! its the only place I have stayed in the last month, and i dont have them at home. (at least not yet) cleaned every piece of clothing & bags extensively. i hope they didnt make the trip!

DIY Hotel
We have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times throughout the years as we make our annual trek up north. This stay was especially disappointing, so disappointing that we will find a different city to stay in in the future. The hallways were covered with large dry wall crumbs (yes, there is construction going on but there are also vacuums available). Our bathroom did not have a shower curtain, so on the way to dinner, we mentioned this at the front desk expecting them to send someone to our room to hang the curtain. To our surprise, they handed us a curtain. In the morning, we discovered there were no coffee cups in the room. We headed downstairs to ask for some. The receptionist pointed across the room to a stack of cups. By the way, this year was the most we paid for this hotel room. It is last time we will pay for a room here.

Plenty of parking which was a plus as we arrived late. Secure entry points. Quiet room. Property is being renovated which will enhance the quality of the rooms. Staff was friendly and professional. Comfortable bed. Good Tv and WiFi service. Clean room. Would stay there again. On-site restaurant is very good for breakfast.
