This place is awesome. What a gem to have for a place to stay in Salem. The owners were VERY responsive and informative in all communications. The property was clean and accommodating. Literally everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. We came in December and still walked everywhere because it was so close. There was no reason for me to get the rental car (though if you still want a rental car the owners gave me their parking pass for the garage around the corner, AWESOME). 4 minute walk to the oyster bar. 5 minute walk to CVS for random things. No more than ten minute walk to all the restaurants we wanted to check out. The Peabody Essex Museum is right around the corner as well as the Salem Witch Trials Memorial. I will definitely be trying to book here again when we come back in summer.

My mom and I stayed here during our first ever trip to Salem; we had the best time. This home is beautiful and is in the perfect location. It was very accessible and felt like we were in the heart of downtown — everything was within walking distance! Krysten & Mike were lovely hosts as well! Very responsive and accommodating, going so far as to even help provide parking. The hospitality and overall stay was amazing, truly could not recommend this home and these hosts, enough.

This apartment was perfect for this sister trip! The location couldn't be better. Everything was in walking distance. The host was responsive and accommodating; parking in October is challenging, and they made it happen! The host has so many welcoming touches, from coffee pods to a guest book with the story of this historical home.

My husband and I stayed here for our first time in Salem. Location was perfect for walking around to everywhere we explored. The place was spotless, great bed(much appreciated after walking around all day) and just all around perfect. The owners were so very nice as well. Would definitely return!

Easily summed up as: clean, cute, and convenient. Hosts were friendly and communicative. The space was lovely (although note to talk folks: it does have low ceilings as it’s an old building. My 6” 4’ boyfriend nearly had to duck to get in and out of the bathroom! LOL.) There was also an adorable dog called Olive! Wonderful stay. Thanks so much!!

TDLR: The place is small and cozy and perfectly located in the area for reasonable walks to most points of interest! The host was amazing as well!Longer Version: Maybe I missed it in the listing, but my wife and myself were unaware prior to arrival that the parking situation for this particular location was actually a parking deck about a block away. Now the parking deck was paid for via a pass privided by the host, so there was no associated additional cost (this is a good thing), but unless everything you brought with you was in a backpack or a rolling luggage, then you're in for a workout.The first open spot in the parking deck that was not a "reserved" spot was on the top floor and we ended up having to lug some heavier items all the way down and over to the place.That's basically the only "downside". Other than that, I would say it was about as perfect as it gets, especially for the price!You want better parking? Well you can pay more than twice the rate and stay at the hotel across the street! For me, I'll get a little grumpy to save hundreds of dollars! Burned a few extra calories too!My wife and myself were in Salem for our 20th wedding anniversary and the host knew this. To her credit, there was a bottle of wine in the frige waiting for us! A very nice and unecessary touch! We were just happy to be there, but to know that the host even spent a moment thinking about us as more than just a number, really meant a lot!Thanks!

Short but Sweet

We were only there for a few days but the experience was wonderful. Communication was excellent when we had trouble finding parking and they were able to help us out very quickly. The place was cozy and welcoming. Having almost all locations we wanted to visit be within a 5-10 minute walk or shorter from the vrbo was convenient. Would absolutely recommend for someone wanting to stay in Salem!

I was in Salem for an event at the Peabody Essex Museum, and the location could not have been better — I was able to walk everywhere for the weekend and didn’t need to use my car at all. The apartment is beautiful—clean, comfortable, fully equipped, and lovely. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Stay - in the center of everything!

1st floor apartment was perfect for me and my husband for my birthday getaway. Right on the main drag of town. Park the car and walk everywhere that’s what we did! Owner provided us with great recommendations for dinner. Lovely place to stay while exploring the history! Highly recommend!
