Hii we enjoyed our stay but did have a couple issues. We didn’t have the code to get in when we got there and didn’t see it in the app or email communication so we had to call. Also the jacuzzi only got luke warm for us so it wasnt warm enough to enjoy in the cold. Otherwise the kitchen was very stalked and everything was nicely organized

This place was so cozy! Great views from the living room, had so many things for our toddler (like kids plates and spoons, toys and even books) and even a pack and play for our newborn to sleep in, which was a total win so we didn’t have to travel with one! There was coffee available to make and all the dishes you could ever need. I highly recommend this place! My only complaint would be that all the pillows in the house (even on the couch) were down feather. So I would recommend bringing your own pillow if you don’t like down feather like me. Would’ve slept much better with a different pillow! But other than that it is a great place to stay.

Beautiful location in the trees

We had a lovely stay with our family. The home was perfect for 5 of us. There was some road noise from the highway but that was to be expected. The balcony/patio area and spa could have been a little more cleaned up prior to our stay but overall it was a wonderful visit and its proximity to amazing hikes in The Redwoods was just what we were hoping for.

Cozy forest escape

Although kind of hard to find initially (definitely recommend arriving during daylight!), once we arrived and settled in, it was a lovely stay. Very quiet and secluded - it felt like we had our own little forest to enjoy. Everything was as described and we enjoyed cooking our own dinners onsite. The hot tub was clean and a highlight for all each day! Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful cozy home

The property was exactly as expected. The bunk beds were a hit with our kids! The views of the big trees from the living room was incredible, it felt like we were in a forest. Everything was today, the location was perfect. The instructions to find the property were super detailed and helpful. Highly recommend!

Sweet Getaway

Pictures were accurate but important to note it is not as secluded as it looks. Lovely property, totally perfect for us! Just immediately off a busy road, not as nestled in the trees as the pictures make it seem. Would stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway

I’m so grateful I found this home. It had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time in the cozy living room where all the windows look out to trees. It feels remote, but is very close to town if you need any groceries. Kitchen had all the tools we needed to make a Thanksgiving meal. Games, puzzles, books and movies for everyone. I would certainly book again!

Location was great, though a little hard to find (its located behind another house, and theres no marking or indication of where to go, as you cant see the house from the base of the driveway). The hot tub was not operational, which was a little disappointing but not really a big deal. Very peaceful, and comfortable stay. Would stay here again for sure

cozy house with EVERYTHING you could need, but super hard to find

Very well stocked house in the woods basically. Cute extra little cabin. Very clean and tastefully appointed. Unfortunately the description of how to get there was super frustrating. Google map and Maps pointed the address between highway 9 and a crazy little scary road parallel to the highway. The house is exactly between those two roads but access is on highway 9 on a blind curve and the driveway goes up between two houses. Unlighted number and unlighted driveway. We almost had to leave because we couldn't find it (it was night). Fortunately, kind neighbors directed us to the drive way. I gave the property managers some pictures and suggestions about better communicating the actual location and how to find it. Hopefully they will listen and help out their guests to find this great home. Property managers also wanted us to leave by 10, which is early but the instructions we had said 11. Kind of rude but otherwise great stay.

Amazing location!

Slight glitch checking in, but management company was very helpful. The driveway and road were not an issue for us at all once we got the hang of it. We did not even hear the road from the house, all we could hear was the small waterfall and the wind through the beautiful redwoods. We loved the patio and hot tub. The towns in the mountains provided plenty of hiking, great restaurants, and exploring. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and grilling out. Up the hill is a hammock area and walking access to the road that goes to the Brookdale Lodge. Our family had an amazing time, can highly recommend! Our kids are 21 & 23, great family trip!!

Restful getaway

We felt like visiting family. So many things were provided for our use that we were surprised-measuring cups, dvds, games, even lanterns for an unexpected power outage. We had a very quiet and refreshing time away. I don't know how to do bette.

Relaxing getaway

We had a great relaxing week with our 5 and 7 year old daughters at this cabin. The place was comfortable. Loved relaxing in the hot tub and appreciated the kids books and toys. Best time hiking in Henry Cowell State park and running ok nearby trails. Communication was easy. Highly recommend!

Totally cool stay

Anytime in the Santa Cruz mountains is a great time. This vacation rental was in the perfect place. Close to Scotts valley shopping and close to Santa Cruz. The host were super responsive to our many questions.

Beautiful Mountain House

We could not say enough about how much we loved our stay! Suzanne’s mountain house had everything we could possibly have needed and more. From the cozy fire, to the hot tub surrounded by beautiful scenery, to the comfy beds & fully stocked kitchen, everything was perfect! We can’t wait to be able to plan a return visit!

Excellent family cabin loaded with extras!

We had an awesome stay at the Mountain House! It was clean and check in was easy! The kids especially loved all the extra board games you had to offer. It was great to unplug and spend quality family time. Perfect central location for taking in the sights, hiking and going to the beach. Our favorites were visiting Natural Bridge state beach at low tide, the giant redwoods and exploring Capitola. Wonderful stay!

Very comfortable & well-equipped home

Thank you to our hosts for your warm welcome and sharing your sweet home with us. We were a bit apprehensive about pets being allowed but the house was spotless. We wondered if six adults would be a bit of a squash but there was plenty of room and comfortable chairs. Everyone slept well with good mattresses and extra blankets. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the decor just as you might like at home. Certainly recommend.
