We received the key code a week before arrival which was reassuring. We were pleased with the quiet street and location and updated furnishings and kitchen appliances. The first problem we knew about ahead of time - the oven didn’t work, but we were fine with using the air-fryer. Then we discovered there was no water or ice on the fridge/freezer door! The coil for connecting it was up in the pantry shelf. (Hint: do not even ask owner about this or you will hear a long story). Then after a few days we realized there was only 1 roll of TP, so I texted the owner asking if there was more somewhere to which she replied that the standard was just 2 rolls. She didn’t ask if we had received 2 rolls cuz we didn’t. She just wasn’t very receptive and quite defensive on a few accounts which I won’t go into detail about. We were told that we wouldn’t have access to the MBR, which we were fine with. Then the week before we were told to park to the right to leave room on the left. We had no idea there’d be another house guest to the left side of the home, and with the MBR to the right we felt sandwiched in between, and no shades for the back patio doors, not knowing who might be back there. Just a little different than expected, but a nice place overall. We’ve just received a little more customer service than this previously (ie bottled water and treats in the fridge) so perhaps we were previously spoiled. Just need to make your own ice and bring your own pillow if u don’t like a firm pillow.
