Box Canyon Springs Preserve

This hotel was the most expensive one of our vacation and was the worst. The room was small and dark. But what makes me really angry is that the hotel booked more than the agreed amount of money from my credit card and now does not even response to my request for a receipt. The lady at the reception was unfriendly and not willing to talk to us at all. Very disappointing and I would not stay there again.

Amazing

This newly reonovated hotel has some challenges ahead of it. Let's start with a couple of positives - THE STAFF is AMAZING. The hotel itself is quite nice. The room is extremely small and crowded. Not sure how this will work in the winter with more and bulky apparrel. The bathroom had no shelf - no place for toiletries. The toilet paper holder was already broken from the wall and the holder was sideways. No outside facilities to sit. Restaurant and bar - very small for a hotel of this statue and proximity to the mountain. We would not return. But the STAFF is AMAZING !!
