What a fabulous way to cross âstay in a yurtâ off my bucket list!
Every other year we pick up our grandsons in North Salt Lake and head out for adventures. This was a biggie for us and we loved it! We all fell in love with the yurt and the spectacular scenery there. Typically, I would not spend that much on two nightâs lodging, but we decided this was also gonna be incorporated into our actual adventure not just the sleep aspect. We kept all the rest of our activities in the free category around the Bozeman area and had a fabulous time. Our soon to be 15-year-old grandson even asked to leave the Thursday night festival stating he would really like to go back to the yurt and hang out. The yurt is very well appointed, impeccably clean (which based upon how it is made is no easy task) and very well laid out. They have covered all the bases. Our grandsons loved sleeping up on the loft and looking out at the stars. The only thing we wished they wouldâve provided was hot dog/marshmallow roasting sticks. Yes, we couldâve ventured into the trees and probably taken something from a tree, but the grasses were tall, and we did not want to disturb the wildlife. I should perhaps add that approximately the last half mile or so is up a steep gravel one lane road so I do not recommend a low profile car. We were in a RAV4 and did not have any difficulties at all. Once the snow starts falling, you might consider four-wheel-drive. I would like to share that communication with the host was very easy and prompt. Any questions we quickly answered.
Our stay in the yurt was amazing. The views were incredible. It was a great way to relax after spending 3 days hiking in Yellostone. The location is only 15 minutes to downtown Bozeman. The hosts were extremely responsive. We would definitely stay again.
The yurt has the advantage of Bozeman and probably the best outlook of any place in the town. The yurt is basically one sizeable room with nicely done partitions for the kitchen and bath. Very nice deck and parking is on 20 ft away. It is rustic but, well maintained and provides everything one would need, though the mattress could be better. There is plenty of nearby outstanding hiking, biking, and, of course, the town of Bozeman. Note that it is a half mile up a moderately climbing, one lane, dirt/gravel road and is one curve beyond where Google says you should have arrived. Very quiet and no cars driving near it.
Our stay was excellent. Communication was excellent, and we loved how cozy the yurt was. It was an excellent trip. The location is great: short drive to downtown Bozeman but far enough to feel secluded. A lot of our friends wanted details to potentially stay.
This was such a fun place to stay and we loved how unique it was. Perfect for a couple to stay in, and thereâs a nice deck that overlooks Bozeman with amazing views day or night. In the winter you definitely need 4 wheel drive, and the walkway in was a bit slick, so may not be the best spot for those who are unstable on their feet in the colder months, but wasnât a problem for us. We loved it
My wife stayed here for two days to enjoy time to herself. She loved it! It was clean, cute, and quiet and enjoyable and everything was perfect. The managers of this property stayed in contact with us and had amazing customer service! Will stay here again.
Had the best time visiting our son with a stay at the yurt. We arrived at night, so were surprised by the most spectacular view of the valley, the Bridgers, and the Tabacco Roots. So fun to be able to ride Leverich Canyon right from our front door, and return to grill up some dinner, have a fire, and enjoy the sunset views. Clean, comfortable, well stocked stay, in a peaceful and private setting.
The property was exactly what was pictured, super picturesque, pretty secluded location, and was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. Wasnt an issue for us but beware if youre a private person staying with a group, the bathroom doesnt have a door due to the design of the yurt. That being said, its still pretty private and has an amazing shower.
I booked this property for a next day arrival, it was a long shot but I asked if the property was available that same day too and it was! Hosts were great to work with and so accommodating! We were absolutely blown away by the location, views in every direction. We got to hang out on the deck and watch a thunder storm roll through the valley, way cool. The yurt is the greatest ever! Super comfy and cozy.
This place had everything I needed and gave you the great outdoors feeling without being far from town. The view from the deck watching the morning sunrise was incredible and the hosts were super responsive and very nice! Such a unique place!
