The home was clean, neat, and organized. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms could use a few more washcloths. The master bedroom was warmer than the rest of the condo, but we found a fan in a closet.
The unit was advertised as a 3 bedroom condo and I though that was what I rented, but when I got the confirmation printout, it said 2 bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the family room (which was the living room). That was upsetting because we needed 3. One adult was cheated out of a private sleeping area and had no closet. And a 2 bedroom condo usually costs less. I did email the owner and got no response but maybe it was the type of mailbox that is not monitored for incoming mail. Maybe I should have called him instead. We made do with the situation and still had fun.
It is a good location but is right next to Cortez - a main entry to the island - there was a lot of traffic. You have to cross Gulf Dr to get to the beach and Gulf Drive is a busy street, but people are usually courteous and let you cross in front of them. There was maintenence /repair going on in/around other units in the building so there was quiet a bit of noise in the area. These things were annoyances, but not a game-changer. The area has many attractions and things to do close by. The Wicked Cantina and Green Turtle Gift Shop are just a short walk away, the beach is across the street.
The owner has a storage area that has beach items, chairs, even a wagon‐this is a great, cost saving convenience
