The pool area and proximity to the Cortez beach make this house a great option on Anna Maria island. Parking was easy the house was comfortable.

The location of seaside manor was excellent. We were able to walk back and forth from the beach with toddlers easily. The beach was beautiful near the cottage. The pool was very well kept, clean and warm as well as the hot tub. While staying there it was easy to communicate with management and get help if needed.

Host awesome.. place as described. There is loud alarm going out to pool, uneven floors as mentioned low ceiling for outdoor tv area but perfect location and clean… we enjoyed pool, hot tub, outdoor TV and fenced yard especially!

The location was perfect. Didn't have to use the car upon arrival. Everything very walkable. Beach access was less than a 1 minute walk. Pool area was the highlight of the house, although the lounge chairs in the photos were in rough shape and no longer had cushions.

House was very clean and well stocked. Pool and hot tub were very well maintained. Literally minutes from the beach which was AMAZING. Minior issue with door lock however host responded immediatly and also brought us an extra beach chair and umbrella.

Nice Stay

This is an old house that has been fixed up. The location is great, 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to Bridge St shops and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were great, but there were no pool or beach floats or toys. I purchased some and left them, but I don’t know if they threw them out. The outdoor furniture was not comfortable, and is different than what is pictured. The directions for the hot tub in the home’s information binder were inaccurate, but I was able to figure it out. The two king size beds were comfortable, but the other two beds were not. The refrigerator did still have the fishy smell that was mentioned in other reviews, but my main problem with it was lack of working ice maker-buy a bag of ice if you want some. The kitchen was nice otherwise, and well-equipped, but there was no salt, foil, or anything. I did not necessarily expect that, but other VRBO rentals have had some staples left by others. The bathrooms were good. Overall a good stay, just mentioning some things that I would have liked to have known prior to my stay.

Beach Rental Review

Overall, the property was clean and very nice for us. We did enjoy our stay at the property. The pool and the tv outside were awesome! The jacuzzi was hot and not difficult to turn on and off with the instruction manual. The bed was comfortable and the towels and sheets were clean. Shower had hot water with good water pressure and was clean! There wasn’t a lot of cleanup/starting of laundry and whatnot we had to do before leaving which was nice, too! However, the refrigerator smelled of bad fish, but the fridge appeared to be clean. Not sure if that was from previous guests or not. The bypass button coming inside from the pool area wasn’t connected and we had to contact the management group to have maintenance come out and fix it. It took him less than 5 min to fix and the management group was quick and efficient at responding! The pictures seem edited to entice renters, which I know is the whole point, but don’t accurately display the unevenness of the floors. If small children or elderly came to visit, it would be dangerous even with the caution tape on the floors/ceilings. Would recommend the property just with some disclosures.

Great spot

House was as advertised...1 block from the beach & the backyard oasis was awesome for the kids!! My only complaint is the backdoor is loose at times, which sets the alarm off...I would recommend replacing the backdoor. Other than that, we had a great time!Ryan W

Great location and the house is very nice too.

I chose the location for the beach and intercoastal access. And the pool and entertainment area on the Prperty. Tropical Storm, Betty was forming off the coast when we arrived. But we knew that we would have a couple of days of rain. No problem. We noticed that the pool pump wasn't running when we arrived but sometimes, they are on timers. After the storm moved north, I called AMI Accommodations to let them know that the pump wasn't working. They said that they would have a pool tech out that day, We never heard back even after calling back. I rented this house because of the pool area and location. I am a disabled Veteran and have had surgery on both feet for the last 2 years. I can't walk on the beach or sand yet. The pool area was very important to me. My adult daughter and her husband and my adult son and his fiancé finally got together to meet there. So when they all went to the beach, I planned on enjoying the pool and pool bar area. Then we normally spend the evening in the pool enjoying each other's company. The pool guy came by Wednesday morning and said the pump motor was bad and that they generally can fix it the same day. We called checking on the progress many times. AMI is very good at BS'ing you and telling you what you want to hear. They never showed up to fix the pool issue! I was so mad that I couldn't even enjoy my week that I have been waiting for 2 years to spend time with my family. The owner is not being represented well by AMI management!

T & G Excellent Adventure

Check in was quick & easy, the cottage was clean, neat & tidy, neighborhood was mostly quiet, lots of renovations & construction going on around the property. Beach access was also under construction but we had the “sound” on the other side which had a pier & was relaxing. Overall good experience, would recommend.

Very unsafe property

The alarm installed was incapable of doing its job due to the misalignment of the door which wouldn't remain closed causing it to constantly go off. The floors from room to room were uneven with 2 inch lips creating a constant trip hazard. Marking them with hazard tape didnt alleviate the problem. The pool tiles ALL ALONG THE POOL SIDE nearest the bar side were completely NOT ADHEARED AT ALL !! NOT LOOSE, just laying in place. Sooo dangerous ! The decking surface was terribly slippery. I had to follow my 91 yr old dad everywhere for fear he would break his neck. One of my 70 yr old guests fell on the decking due to no handrail going down to the sunk in bar area.The bikes all had flat tires and rusted chains. The trundle by the front door had a dinner plate size pothole in the middle of it, making sleeping on it impossible. I'm not talking about an uncomfortable mattress, it was garbage ! ! There was nowhere to put groceries away creating the need to put everything on the counter.That was alot of $$ to spend on a property with so many careless and shoddy inadequacies. It pictured well on the website but was a pig in lipstick in person. I was very disappointed.

Location was great and near shopping and restaurants. Beach was a stones throw away and the pool and hot tub were nice as well. Home had been updated nicely and had everything we needed. Would stay again!
