We had a very nice one-week stay at John’s place. The layout of the house worked really well for our group of eight, and the kitchen was adequately stocked since we cooked there often. John was also an excellent host—he communicated clearly and always responded quickly whenever I had questions.My kids absolutely loved the pool and the pool table, and both were used for several hours each day. Those amenities really added to our enjoyment of the stay.One piece of constructive feedback is that, between the living room and lounge area, we ended up moving furniture around so we could all sit together in one place at night to watch movies. It would be even better if the home had a comfortable sectional and a few more cozy chairs to make group seating easier.The main reason I likely would not stay at this property again is that I felt it was priced a bit high for the neighborhood. While I did appreciate how close it was to Anna Maria Island, I’ve stayed in other VRBOs at a similar price point that were located in more upscale neighborhoods.
