« Nice to be by the lake and enjoy the balcony with a view. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, good shower pressure…the hotel holy trinity.
Updated interior was cosmetically nice and clearly done on a budget, which is ok. But to nitpick, kitchenette cabinetry was way out of square, and not all drawers and cabinets in our room closed completely. A full size ironing board would have been nice.
I appreciated the virtual check in. Email instructions were accurate and helpful. The only person...

« The room was recently renovated, clean and well maintained. It suited our needs, and the price was reasonable. Next time I would investigate the Lodge to see whether a more luxurious room was available for an affordable price. »

« My husband and granddaughter hiked part of the Ouachita
Trail. While they were hiking I became quite ill while staying in the Joplin Inn. The staff were kind and helpful. They live their faith. We are grateful for their thoughtfulness! »

« The beds were OK comfort wise and the bedding seemed clean. I turned the ac down a bit but was still hot much of the night. The shower was dark a there wasn't a light positioned to shine into it. None of the email correspondence told me what room number nor where the rooms were located. We were arriving late so regular check in wasn't available. We called and let the property manager know we'd be late but we weren't informed that our room wasn't near where the address on the emails would send...
