Everything was as advertised. There were a few issues initially. Management was easy to reach, communicated well and resolved all but one issue quickly. There was a probled with one of the clothes dryers that required a replacement part. The gave us a credit to offset that inconvenience.
We arrived Sunday afternoon and everything was better than expected. We had even been notified about possible AC problems that were being addressed as some of our group were arriving. Fantastic communication before, during and after our visit. My family enjoyed everything about our accommodations they want to stay again in the fall. Thanks for your excellent service!!!
House is very close to SDC which is nice. The floor was dirty when we arrived which we didnt notice until we saw the bottom of our socks. The property management team was prompt responding to this and sent a crew to clean the floor. The pool table in the basement is broken and essentially not usable. None of the TVs are smart TVs. The neighborhood is in an extremely hilly area which made parking a bit of a challenge.
This property is in a great location for those taking in the beauty and activities of Branson.
Pros:
The air conditioning kept up overall during the hot August weather.
The hot water heater also kept up with our large family.
The management team was extremely fast and responsive to a couple of maintenance requests.
It was nice to have bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole group.
The pool area was very nice.
Cons:
This is clearly a well-loved property that has hosted many happy families over the years, but it is time for an update.
The basic cleaning of rooms was sufficient, but some deep cleaning is needed. The ceiling fans in the living room and at least one bedroom were filthy. Some of the air return vents were also visibly dirty.
There was a large cobweb hanging from the ceiling in the living room.
The paint, trim, and flooring need to be updated at a minimum. Given the quality of new properties up opening nearby, a full renovation is advised for continued success.
Others have mentioned the steep parking situation. That wasnât a big deal to us, but it might be wise to note this in the description for those guests who have mobility issues.
We noticed a few other odds and ends like those above. Although we would love to leave a five-star review, these things stood out to us. If these things are addressed, I think that this will continue to be a wonderful place to stay for those making memories in Branson.
We had a great time in Branson and really enjoyed the cabin. We had several adults and kids in our group and this cabin was spacious yet cozy. Although we didn't cook during our stay we could have because the kitchen was fully stocked. They even provided dish soap and dishwashing machine pods so we could wash all the cups, glasses and plates we used for the kid's snacks. There is a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker inside and a smaller fridge on the back deck. There is a full-size washer and dryer on the lower level and a stackable washer and dryer on the main level. Although they provided 4 laundry pods, we brought our own laundry detergent so we were able to wash and dry the kids clothes. Each bathroom had make-up remover wipes as well as soap, shampoo and conditioner. The only con I can think of is the parking. There is truly only room for three vehicles, and you will be parking on a very steep incline. If you have any mobility issues the incline will definitely be an issue.
