« So unique as a wonderful hotel and a wonderful tribute to our country’s and local heritage with locomotives. Thoroughly appreciated both! So glad we made the reservation. We will be back when through La Plata. »

« The first room we got had not been cleaned and appeared to have a guest inside it. So we went to the office. They immediately gave us another room. The room was clean. But old and the electrical outlets were not grounded. Good enough for one night passing thru. We had pets. I wouldn’t really recommend this place. Even if you’re cheap like me. Shower was ok. No coffee in the lobby. But the owner was friendly. I read other reviews and decided to take the chance. Skip this spot. Lots of long term...

« The place was dirty, old & room smelled musty. Things were broken, towels were the size of large hand towel. Toilet didn’t flush worth a crap. It was just very gross, I would not recommend staying there. »
