Enjoyable stay
House is in a nice location. Everything worked. Was quiet and beds and bedding were great. Everyone slept very well. There is some maintenance that is needed. Some flooring has curled up and is a trip hazard. There are no grab bars in the bathrooms and there needs to be. The walk down to the water is steep and is via stone steps, which while they seem to be well secured there needs to be a railing the entire way. Outside of the building could use a good cleaning.

Great Ladies Getaway
We stayed at this beautiful lake house for a girl’s weekend. We had traveled up to that area to visit wineries, shop and eat out. The house was very spacious, clean and gorgeous inside. Our favorite part was having our coffee/tea on the deck outside in the morning overlooking the lake. The owners were very good about getting back to us. Would highly recommend this house.

Men’s Retreat
My men’s group was looking for a place we could go that we felt we would be relaxed and have room to have Bible study and feel comfortable and wow did we find it. Lives were changed and God was definitely present there. We would definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable getaway close to city!
Our family of 8 with 2 pets had an amazing time staying over in this very well stocked, secluded and very scenic house! Mandy and her team thought of almost everything under the sun to stock up in this house, and in generous amounts! She was always available to answer our questions and help of any was needed. Do expect low water pressure and some Wi-Fi slowdowns as it is on lake and in the outskirts or city! Otherwise it was a wonderful stay especially over the New Years’s eve to watch all the fireworks over the lake! Thank you Mandy :)

Perfect place for a family get together. Lots of areas for the kids to play. All of the necessities (paper towels, toilet paper, etc) were provided plus extras like everything needed to make s’mores at the fire pit and popcorn for the popcorn machine!

Grandparents Weekend

This property is all you could want for a fun relaxing getaway with plenty of space, bathrooms, fun things to do for a large family! Everything is well thought out and well stocked in the kitchen, game room, outdoors, etc; so many thoughtful amenities provided by the owners! Beautiful home with great views! We highly recommend this amazing home!!

BEAUTIFUL FAMILY LOCATION
WE AS FAMILY STAY AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR IN VRBO PROPERTIES. WE HAVE DOGS A SMALL CHILD AND A HANDICAP INDIVIDUAL SO PROPERTIES ARE DIFFICULT TO FIND THAT FIT OUR NEEDS. THIS PROPERTY WAS PERFECT FOR US. THE SPACE WITH FENCING FOR THE DOGS WAS A GREAT HELP AND OUR 18 MONTH OLD COULD PARTICIPATE IN "LETTING OUT THE DOGS" WHICH HE LOVES. THE ROOMS ARE LAID OUT WELL FOR ADULT COUPLES AND HAVE ON SUITES FOR ALL BUT ONE ROOM. THERE ARE 2 ROOMS ON GROUND LEVEL THAT MADE HANDICAP ACCESS EASIER. THE OUTDOOR SPACES HAVE INCREDIBLE VIEWS. THE PARKING WAS GOOD FOR 3 . THE WALK TO THE DOCK IS A CHALLENGE BUT DOABLE AT A SLOW ASSISITED PACE NOT W/C OR WALKER . WE BROUGHT AN EASY UP TENT FOR SHADE AND SEVERAL LARGE RIVER TUBES THAT WERE PERFECT FOR PLAYING OFF THE DOCK. BOATS TO RENT HERE ARE OUTRAGELY PRICED. THE COMMUNICATION WAS PROMPT AND EFFECTIVE. WE DO QA AFTER AND OUR STAY AND EVERYONE IN OUR PARTY WANT TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR.

Family Vacation with Friends. 4.8 would be my overall rating if possible
We enjoyed our stay at the property. It's a nice, updated house with a beautiful view of Lake Bridgeport. The accommodations were great, the property was clean, well appointed and very thoughtful to their guests. One suggestion is to have a shaded option on the dock and possibly paddleboards or a kayak. The dock appears to be fairly new and is great for swimming and fishing, but on a hot summer day, there is nowhere to hide from the sun. An umbrella or pop up tent would be a good option to include so guests could enjoy the dock more. While the lake was clean and clear, the options for boat rental are minimal and the quality of rental options are poor. Also note, the neighboring properties to get to this house are pretty run down, but this house stands out in terms of its' updates and quality. The property managers were great to work with and even accommodated a later check out when requested. If you have a boat and want a good option on Lake Bridgeport, I would definitely recommend even though the pricing may be on the high side of things.
