„Overall the stay was great the beds could have been more comfortable. I woke up a few time sweating due to the mattress cover.when we walked down to the river there was a bunch of broken glass from beer bottles it looks like. We cleaned it up. Wonderful cottage though. “

„We loved staying in this cute little house tucked away at the top of the hill behind the train station (two adults, 2 kids 8 and 10). Very walkable to the downtown shops and restaurants- we barely used our car while we were there, except one grocery run. The walk does include some steep climbs in both directions but we loved the view from the park over the whole town and hills beyond. The hosts were extremely helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend!“

„This place had some cool stuff I didn't even know I wanted! It was perfect for families on the go. Each kid had their own room. The biggest room had a king bed. All the beds were super comfy. We loved hanging out on the deck. The mountain air was cool, and there weren't any mosquitos. We even had deer visit us every night! It was perfect. The furniture was nice and just right. „Our family of 5 stayed at the Gingerbread Cottage for 3 nights to celebrate our daughter's college graduation from JMU. The location was ideal as it was not far from Harrisonburg and close to restaurants. We had fun at Cave Hill Brewery, which was close and had great meals at Thunderbird Cafe (breakfast) and Hank's (great bbq dinner). We highly recommend staying at this property and would return if in the area again. “
