« Though we only stayed one night and were at a family event for the majority of our visit to the area, we thoroughly enjoyed this guest house and wish we had more time to just relax and enjoy the space and beautiful property. The guest house is fully stocked with everything you would need and if you enjoy the outdoors it is right down the road from some beautiful trails. It’s a gem of a spot and my family would definitely stay again. »

« Great Location, close to everything!! Place super clean and the bed was comfortable. New to CT, Fall colors amazing. Host was easy to work with, especially when we couldn't get coffee pot to work correctly. New Coffee pot but strange design. »

« 1st class Lake FRONT w/ million dollar views; however, it will be difficult for the elderly to go up and down the steps from the house to the dock on the lake. Beautiful exterior masonry. Only complaint there should be instructions provided for guests on how to use all the different air conditioners and electronics. »

« My husband and I, along with our daughter and grandson, recently spent some time at Candlewood Lake in Jeff’s house. From the start, James provided excellent communication and was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. « The house and hosts are absolutely incredible! Perfect for large groups or families. The basement adds a massive extra space for hangouts / activities / games without disrupting anyone asleep. House has everything you could want in a lake rental. The private lake area is great being in a cove, only downside of this property is the walk from the house to the steep steps going down to the water which would be tough for olde generations. »
