The property was fine - apartment was veru nice and clean, good location, close to shops and a 20 min walk to South bank beach. Veru handy to have e booking k in process totally ruined the experience. It was so stressful, I eish we had just stayed in a hotel, with a proper check in process and a front desk. We have stayed in quite a few places with Stayz and similar accommodation platforms and have never had so much trouble with the booking process. After we had booked the non-refundable rate for this property through the Stayz website, we received correspondance from the property manager with a link to upload our photo ID, credit card image, photo and signature!! They had already taken payment from our credit card, AND taken a $33 (!!) cc fee, but would not release the check in details until we had uploaded all the above mentioned personal details. Not only did my husband upload the details, but we then received a message to say that the image of our signature and credit card had been rejected and we had to upload them again. After the 3rd time, a lot of stress, totally feeling like we were being scammed, and a phone call to Stayz, we were finally semt the check in details. The check in process was so weird. We weren't given the early check in we had asked for, and when I arrived at the location of the lock box (attached to a mesh fence, behind a garbage bin, with a bunch of other lock boxes) there was no key!
