The apartment was okay (tidy but poorly maintained) and the experience was awful. We arrived to an apartment that had not been cleaned since the previous guests, and it took an hour to get a respond from the host agency in order to rectify it. I used the 24 chat function with MadeComfy and still no helpful response. I requested a refund and to just go elsewhere, but I was told I’d forfeit all three weeks worth of accommodation already paid for.We got in 3 hours late, after waiting in the car out front while it was cleaned, and with no one telling us it was ready. We got inside to find a full sink that wouldn’t drain in the bedroom and a busted downstairs door that wouldn’t lock. Trades were sent out for repairs two days later. I was told I’d be compensated for the inconvenience but that did not eventuate. The icing on the cake was receiving a request to pay a deposit for the place the day after I checked out, clearly illegitimate but containing all my personal details and booking info. The summary - avoid MadeComfy. It is not reliable or secure, and its property management is atrocious.
