« We had a lovely stay in this heritage property in York. Check-in was easy and all communication with the hosts was timely and friendly and helpful. The house is in a great location. We did not have a car and easily walked or took city buses to/from the train station and attractions. « It was lovely. I don't know how the owners can up sticks and rent it out though, in the kindest way I mean! It was comfy, we loved the little conservatory even when it was slashing down with rain. I hope we left it clean and tidy. I think a cafetiere would be good at the property. If there was one, I couldn't find it. Thank you. »

« Our main objective in visiting York was the trains! We especially enjoyed the York Minster, the wall, the Shambles & the incredible history. The Friargate location was perfect for our group of 8. Highly recommend this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. Only snag was getting a parking ticket for parking a van in the designated spot in front of the house. »

« Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

"L'arrivée à l'hÎtel s'est bien déroulé. Le personnel est trÚs gentil et nous avons pu laisser nos bagages pour aller visiter la ville (car nous sommes arrivés tÎt le matin, trop tÎt pour le check-in). La chambre était propre, spacieuse, et le lit confortable. Aussi, l'hÎtel est bien situé, à l'intérieur des murs et à quelques minutes à pieds des attraits principaux. Un autre point positif était le déjeuner inclut. Le buffet était diversifié et la nourriture trÚs bonne. Je recommande cet hÎtel."
