  • Welcome to The Lazy Laurel, a luxury two-bedroom Smoky Mountain cabin featuring a gleaming, honey-colored wood interior, vaulted cathedral ceilings, and a cozy stone fireplace. Designed for relaxation, the open-concept space includes a fully equipped kitchen, smart TVs, a master suite with a king bed and custom stone shower, and a second queen bedroom. Step outside onto the covered front porch to unwind in the bubbling hot tub rain or shine, all while staying just minutes from top attractions in Bryson City and Cherokee.

    Location: Bryson City- All Vehicle accessible, excluding motorcycles.
    o 15 minutes to Bryson City
    o 25 minutes to Cherokee’s Harrah Casino

Peaceful and quiet

Cabin in the woods with a very nice view from the deck. Lots to do locally, great adventures all around. Hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of fun. Cabin is well equipped so you don't have to bring everything with you!

Lovely stay

Me and my boyfriend enjoyed the stay at first trying to get up to the house was a little rough with my Nissan but we got up there. We loved the house and the hot tub

Clean, relaxing, nice view of the mountains

We had a great time staying here. It was clean and well cared for. Nice view of the mountains. We were glad to have our 4 wheel drive jeep as the road and driveway are quite steep with gravel as advertised. Nice relaxing hot tub too.

Beautifully decorated and peaceful place. Just the quietness needed for reconnection with my inner self and my friend. Great meditation spot. Hot tub was nice. Bed was comfy. And the view was beautiful. The only suggestion I would make is to make sure your sheets fit better, the bottom sheet would NOT stay on. And may be provide a little more coffee supplies. Other than that a wonderful experience and the cabin is beautiful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Getting to the cabin at night was not easy. But when we called they got us right to it. Come to find out they left off a entire turn. Need to update the directions. The cabin was clean and well maintained. And the staff was very helpful answering any questions we had. Would stay there again.

Bryson city vacation

Took a few days to enjoy Bryson City. Location was exactly what we were looking for. Cabin was clean. Had almost everything you could ask for. Could use some upgrades to the towels and some for the hot tub. One complaint is the noisy refrigerator. Overall a great stay.

Nice relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was private, quiet, and perfect to relax and unwind. We loved how the porch over the hot-tub was covered so even on a rainy day, you can enjoy it! Very clean, nicely decorated place that is very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen was delightful. Washer and dryer was convenient as well!Directions there were accurate. Keep in mind, before getting there, the road becomes windy and narrow then turns into gravel for a short distance before the hill. As stated, the driveway up to it is very steep gravel so make sure you have all wheel drive and are comfortable with it.

The only things that needed to be fixed was the sliding door not locking, the fridge making a funny sound, & the hot tub didn’t get very hot. But otherwise we had a great time.
