« I really enjoyed the hippos grazing at night. The staff also built us a bonfire the first night we were there and we were able to eat around it. The biggest problem was they said we were not expected ( even though my name was clearly on their guest list) and that they did not know we had a 6 year old with us. They were very confused at first and did not know how to handle the situation. One man was very unfriendly. »

« I am really, really tired of hotels claiming that they have ‘free wifi’ (I stay in hotels >300 nights per year). This hotel had only intermittent electricity (so no power to the small fan in the room at night). In 48 hour stay perhaps 2 hours of connectivity. I encourage Hotels.com to add a third category “wifi MAY be available” »

« Very great service! The gate was opened right away. We were brought to our room and our big suitcase was carried by the staff. Delicious breakfast was included and ready for us the next morning. All this by only one employee. »

« I only stayed one night at this hotel, less than 10 hours in total. The room was reasonably clean and the facilities worked. Unfortunately the mosquito net did not fit around the whole of the bed. There wasn't a fan or air conditioning so the room was very warm during the night. »

« The staff was nice. We went on a Safari and we got to see lots of animals and we went on a dinner boat cruise and got to see hippos and and some other wildlife and that was a lot of fun. « Large rooms, good location, clean. I would not book this hotel through Expedia, however, because they were very confused. I am not sure how Expedia liaises with hotels, because they seemed to have never heard of Expedia and I am concerned that they may not have the correct systems in place to record and access payments. I will be booking small hotels in African directly from now on, instead of through a booking site. »
