This was a good choice for seeing the sites of the north coast of Australia. Our unit overlooked the ocean and was convenient for self-catering. Good bathroom with separate shower area from the beds. Comfortable king bed enabled a good night’s sleep. Good WiFi and TV. Very quiet at night. Secure car parking and well-defined access to highway. Staff were great with check-in and information.

A very good place for us to stay. The cabin we had was an older cabin, that probably needed a little bit of work, but overall it was a nice stay. The owners and staff were great.

Not our first visit and won't be our last!
This was our first visit back here with the new owners that have taken over just 7 weeks prior. There isn't much difference at the moment, we had towels changed daily though was happy not to have this done. Also, the cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are getting dated with their furnishings (stayed in the motel part) but they are more than comfortable and the bed and pillows appear to be on the newer side. Like sleeping on a cloud! There was a but of a funky smell in the unit when we arrived. Could have been old cooking smells from the previous guest or a combo of that and older furnishings, so maybe a dab of some eucalypt oil around or what have you may have helped. We just opened the windows and sprayed some smelly stuff around. We will definitely stay here again when we go home for family visits and i cant wait to see what the new owners do. Such a great little spot, so close to everything... and the beach just out your door is a definite advantage (though not a patrolled beach). Thank you again for making our stay so comfy 🤗

The property was quite run down, dusty bed sheets/ furniture, dirty floors and had dirty dishes stored in the kitchen. The advertised pictures and description do not reflect the true (run down) state of the property, at least not for the cabin I stayed in.

The cabin was very old and in need of some TLC 25-30yo. The property was quite dusty with a thick layer beneath the lounge and covering skirting boards. When you walk in you can smell how old it is. Being asthmatic we are sensitive to dust. Next door is a high school with their AG section adjoining the fence, so be prepared for a rooster wake up call. Overall the stay was OK, but I probably would look for something different next time.

Thank you for your review. As you know the stove is fully functioning as I showed you on your departure how to use it. You had 3 options to contact us in regards to helping you get the stove to work and you chose not to do any of these things. We consider this review to be vexasious in nature.
