We stayed for four nights in the less expensive one. „If you like bird watching and going for a walk in a pristine nature, then it is probably the best place within a short distance from Entebbe airport. The easiest way to get to Buvi Lodge is by boat from Entebbe. Ask the hotel to send a boat to pick you up at the harbour, where the ferry goes to Nakiwogo. „Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. „The property is beautiful and serene, the front desk staff need a little more training as instead of checking for my bookings first asked me to prove that I had booked and paid online. In fact they assured me that I would be put out as all rooms were filled up, when I asked to talk to their manager is when they looked and found my name actually on the list. „Nothing on the website is similar to the actual hotel.Wrong picture,wrong name,I had to ask people who lived near the so called hotel to ask for the hotel but to no avail.Because no buddy knows any hotel with that name in that location.When I call the hotel nobody answered my calls or called me back.So I had to book another hotel after spending more than 3 hours waiting.I am disappointed that Expedia putting this kind of scam on the website.“
