This house is perfect for a family gathering! Plenty of room for everyone. The basement is amazing for teens to hang out, the yard is big for corn hole games, and the garage area with extra refrigerator is a game changer. The property is beautiful and can’t be beat for a family gathering. Everything from coffee on the porch to family card games around the big table is just perfect!

This is my fifth stay at Scenic Ridge 9my husband and I were married there four years ago. My husband's family attended the wedding and fell in love with the house as we had. There is a group of six couples (us and my husband's brother and sister plus others) from Springfield, Ohio that get together once a month for game night. We decided last year to come up for a couple of days to play games and explore Amish country. We had so much fun we booked again this year and already have dates picked for next summer. The only thing that we would love to see happen is replacement of the mattresses. Several in our group commented that they were not comfortable.

I am so thrilled we were able to find a home that the entire family (kids, parents and grandparents) could fit comfortably and relax together. The property is breathtaking and the house was clean, had a useful floor plan and was thoughtfully stocked with things for our stay. Some highlights: Horses! There are horses in the field next to the property that are curious and friendly (and love apples). Fireflies! At dusk an amazing number of fireflies dance around making the fields twinkle. The porch! There are plenty of comfortable rocking chairs that made enjoying the surrounding valleys a pleasant experience, day or night. There is so much more to mention, but these are the things that stand out as really special. Having us all under one roof is something we treasure and the entire family can’t wait to visit again!

What a beautiful property! We spent a weekend here with the extended family and loved it. Very clean and plenty of space/bedrooms for all. Lovely views from the porch. Quiet in the evenings and overnight. Everyone (and I do mean everyone) was impressed with the place and wants to come back again for next year's weekend get together. There are many things to see in the area should you choose, but hanging out at the house is just as rewarding. We will be back.

Unser Aufenthalt war bestens, wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern unterwegs und das Haus bot super viel Platz und war optimal für eine so große Gruppe. Die Sicht ist einmalig und die kleine Bucht zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Der Outdoor Whirlpool funktionierte nicht, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Parkplatz ist vorhanden und mit Kindern war es ein großartiger Ort mit viel Natur um das Haus. Einkaufen kann man vor Ort nicht und es ist sehr beschaulich - für uns perfekt!

This home and the surrounding area are beautiful. Plenty of bedrooms, lots of space and everything we needed for our stay. We were staying the weekend for our daughter's wedding and the photographer we hired was just in awe of the place as well! And to top it off, the host was kind and easy to contact. Check in was a breeze! I would highly recommend Scenic Ridge for a family get together if you are looking to reconnect and relax.

We really enjoyed Scenic Ridge. The property owner was very communicative and accommodating. The house was sparkling clean, nicely decorated and stocked with the necessities. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. Very good for large families or groups; we would stay here again!

The Scenic Ridge Guest House is a nicely decorated, clean, spacious, private Farmhouse. It has a lovely view of the countryside and horses to see as well. It had rooms to accommodate 10 adults. We enjoyed our stay and Joann was a gracious host! Thank you Joann!!

We have stayed here before and liked it so much we came back. Plenty of room for our girls basketball team and a few moms to stay for our basketball tournament close by. Wonderfully stocked kitchen, plenty of room, clean and tidy.

Our church group stayed here for the weekend, and it was perfect! The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all 12 of us, with plenty of bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking together a breeze. The dining table seats 10, and there are additional barstools at the counter for extra seating. The internet was fast and reliable for streaming, and the house was spotlessly clean with ample hot water for everyone. The location was ideal—set back on a long, private lane in a beautiful country setting. We highly recommend it!

9 girlfriends got together for a fall hiking trip. The house has plenty of space but you don’t lose one another. Loved being able to all fit comfortably either at the dining table, the kitchen, the living room, the front porch for the sunset or the fire pit for a fire. The view is stunning in every direction. The house had everything we needed from fire wood to spices to cookie sheets. The beds were comfortable, some brought their pillows to make sleeping easy. The house is very clean and Joann is wonderful.

Our extended family enjoys the annual fall weekend at Scenic Ridge Guest House. This is our third year at Scenic Ridge and each year we love it more. It's great to have a quiet and relatively isolated place to just step back and enjoy one another's company, surrounded by God's beautiful scenery. We kept track of time by watching the cows on the far hill side! Thanks Joann for another wonderful weekend!

There were six couples who stayed for two nights. We are a group of 12. Some friends and some family members. We wanted a fall get away to spend time together seeing Amish country, making good food and playing board games. This space was ideal. There are seven bedrooms two full baths and a kitchen that we could all be in comfortably. It was amazing! We did some sight seeing. Had a bonfire on our second night and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. We booked again for July!

Our visit was amazing! The house is very clean and very welcoming! We enjoyed the quietness and the rocking chairs on the front porch were so comfortable. The viewing of the sunset was just the best! Our experience at Scenic Ridge far exceeded any expectations as our full family came to celebrate a birthday. Our host thought of everything, including a wooden bowl for our Cesar salad and a nice lighter for the fire pit. The downstairs suites were perfect for our aging family members and the kids loved seeing the horses on the way up the drive. Thank you for the grand memories!

We are a family gospel singing group from eastern Kentucky and we had booking to a local church. We could have stayed in hotel but would have been separated. This beautiful scenic guest house offered us an opportunity to all stay together and we loved every second of our trip. We most certainly plan on coming back when we are in the area.
