„The accomodation and reception were optimal. I, as the only male in the party and a Debyshire lad, wished to show a German gymnastics group (age 55-75), my old home in the Peak District. The weather was optimal and they really had a great weekend (May 10thg - May 14th 2019). Everyone enjoyed the beautiful Victorian house wuth its modern facilities and as a group of 13, there was enough room for all. Bedrooms, showers, kitchen etc. optimal. Thank you Susan!“

„We had a really lovely stay at the Old Stables as a group of 30 year olds in Buxton for a wedding. Sue is a very informative host and we had no issues checking in. The house is in an excellent location and within walking distance of all Buxton has to offer. The photos also don’t do the house justice, it is so spacious and has everything needed for a great group holiday! “

„Lovely home for large families, plenty of space both inside and out with a scenic view. The kitchen is stocked well with utensils, pans and plates with several dishwasher tablets (usually only come with 1!) we needed to use it each day. Easy to find and instructions were straight forward. Space for 5 cars on the driveway if you are good at manoeuvring. “

„Peverel House has been lovingly restored to provide a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing home from home. The interior styling, colours and little touches such as the scented diffusers, sleep-enhancing pillow spray, sleep masks and tote bag made you feel very welcome and very special. „We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous house. The downstairs rooms were ideal for enjoying a celebratory meal and drinks together. The ensuite rooms were beautiful. There was everything we could possibly need for a fairly large family group; the kitchen was very well-equipped for making all sorts of meals.It was very convenient for walking into the town centre, spa and theatre past the park. "Es ist ein tolles Hotel, das meinen Ansprüchen gerecht wird. Die Zimmer sind nur ein wenig müde. Alles funktionierte und war sauber, aber das Dekor und die Einrichtung sind in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war gut und im Vergleich zu dem, was man im Stadtzentrum bekommt, recht günstig."

"Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover."
