« Four days walking with friends - great location and lovely property with very friendly and helpful owner The layout of property worked very well for us - we self catered and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only slight issue was that the showers in the rooms were not very powerful - maybe we werent usung them oroperly? Would definitely come again »

« A well kitted, comfortable cottage that is centrally located in Buxton town centre. Renovated to a high standard. The shower is over bath by necessity, owing to the original dimensions of this cottage; slightly tricky getting in/out of the bath if you’re 6ft tall, though it can be done. Fluffy great quality towels provided & a super comfy bed. Only caution is if you drive a long estate car: you will struggle to get in/out of the space provided, owing to neighbours’ parking roadside, preventing...

« We had a really lovely stay at the Old Stables as a group of 30 year olds in Buxton for a wedding. Sue is a very informative host and we had no issues checking in. The house is in an excellent location and within walking distance of all Buxton has to offer. The photos also don’t do the house justice, it is so spacious and has everything needed for a great group holiday! »

« We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous house. The downstairs rooms were ideal for enjoying a celebratory meal and drinks together. The ensuite rooms were beautiful. There was everything we could possibly need for a fairly large family group; the kitchen was very well-equipped for making all sorts of meals.It was very convenient for walking into the town centre, spa and theatre past the park. And there was a small supermarket and a couple of pubs just a few minutes up the road.Angela was helpful...
