« We are really happy that we found this wonderful B&B, which is on a farm. The rooms are very nicely restored and there is also a pool in the garden. Antonio and his family are very friendly and helpful. We were also served dinner both nights, although this is not announced in the presentation of the B&B. Antonio also escorted us to the nearby Grotte Castelcivita. We highley recommend this B&B. »

Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. « My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. »

« If you want to stay in Avigliano you don’t have much choice but not to worry. You will love it. I was met by the beautiful Mariana who can give you directions anywhere in the area. « Staying at La Terrazza was a great choice. The room was comfortable and warm (we had a couple of coolish nights), the bathroom was clean, the shower had lots of hot water and wonderful pressure and the kitchen had everything would we have liked to cook.
