Great Stay!

Thank you, Gary and Damarys for the great accommodations. The room was extremely clean and the bed was super comfy! It was also stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the chairs available for our day at the beach (which was very close by). There are many delicious restaurants nearby as well. We look forward to coming back again!

Baseball getaway

Spent a weekend there for a baseball tournament with my son. Nice property and close to whatever you need. Nice owner who easy to get in touch with if needed. Clean and comfortable home with a nice relaxing pool area.

It was a nice get away. Quite neighborhood, easy access to resturants and entertainment. Pleasant and comfortable room. There was a real coffee pot which made life bettre, I like my coffee. Lots of extras provided for your comfort.

Highly Recommend!

Very nicely furnished, everything new or like new. All you need for a comfortable stay is covered. Location is private, and Gary the owner is great to work with and he responds promptly. Conveniently located near restaurants and bars. Fort Myer’s is a short 23 minute drive.

Perfect love nest vacay!

Down to every little detail, this place is couple perfect . The only issue was one morning the adjoining house was very loud at 6:15 am and woke us. Other than that, this was a great stay and I would recommend it and Fin’s Restaurant close by..

Better than a hotel! First floor, no steps Hot tub crystal clear

Perfect bed, shower, garden tub inside, Television, Internet, Hot Tub right outside your door. Lil fridge, micro, coffee pot plastic wear, mugs, wine glasses. We stayed for 2 weeks, and was thankful to return here at each days end. I would recommend for 2 people.

Beautiful home with wonderful owners!

The perfect setting for a family get together under one roof. Beautiful home with the perfect pool and liaini space to enjoy! Home has the option of renting a suite to expand space and provide the privacy you may want if your children are now adults or if you just want additional space. Owners are awesome, accommodating, and go above and beyond to support needs during your stay. Thank you for an awesome birthday weekend! A perfect get away!

Cute rental in nice location.

My son and his girlfriend stayed during their visit to Fort Myers. They liked the area and the room. The only thing they noticed is that they said there was no cold water. Maybe just the way Florida water is, not sure. They would stay again.

Paradise says it all!

Arrived late at night ..and in the rain...The garage door was up and the lights were blazing...making it really easy to see the Orange Cone Gary had mention that I was to park behind. The place was clean and exactly as ,described in the VRBO. There was water in the Fridge, There were beach items for my use. The Lanai was great since I had rain nearly all the time....as was the Hot Tub!! Gary was great about responding both prior to my stay and during my stay! The bed was wonderful...I slept better than at home!! Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Milton, I felt I needed to leave a day earlier than I was schedule to leave. BUT, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there....and, will return in the Spring! Sanibela Island is a "sheller's" heaven!! Thank you so much for sharing Paradise!! blazblazinbmakin g making it really easy

The Palace

This rental property was beautiful and spacious, also in a great neighborhood. But what I didn’t like was that on the original property agreement, there were a few things that were not disclosed. First, the original listing that I booked did not specify that there were no parties/events allowed. It was not until after I was already checked in and communicated with the property owner that I was having a few people over for an intimate birthday dinner that he decided to change the listing policies. Second, during the middle of my stay he informed me that he was coming to clean the pool which confused me because that should’ve been done prior before I checked in. There was no need for him to come especially the fact that he had multiple surveillance cameras around the house that was also not disclosed in the original listing and that made me and my guests feel uncomfortable. One of the cameras was facing the pool area and I felt as though someone was watching me. Next, there was no specifications on the use of how much linen we were allowed to use or wash during our stay there. Which is very concerning to me, due to the pandemic that we are in and charged me an additional fee for the linen and extra cleaning. I also do have before/after pictures. I was also charged an extra fee for additional bed whereas I don’t understand what it is for. I rented the entire home. Also he informed me of a broken door and tile without any photo proof when I arrived during my check in, the door was already broken. Again I have before/after pictures. Other than that, I did my best to enjoy my stay.

**Warning** Be cautious when renting, owner is misleading

I rented the home as I do many others assuming this is one private rental. The night I arrived my husband and I were walking around the exterior and bumped into other guest. The other guest informed us, this home was SHARED. It has an in-law suite. I immediately messaged owner and explained my problem sharing. He at first claimed guest were leaving the next day, Then he messaged and told me other guest would be arriving. I explained I was not willing to share the pool area. I tried to pay extra for my privacy. Unfortunately, I was TOLD I would have to share pool and had no choice. Due to regulations of COVID-19 sharing a pool area is dangerous to the health of my children and elderly father. I explained my position. Owner claimed" other guest were elderly and didn't like their accommodations and wanted to leave" Owner tried FORCING my family to share a "once" listed private space into a shared space. I refuse to expose my children and father because he had guest who didn't like their previous accommodations. OWNER told us to "MOVE ON" . I checked in and bumped into people Thursday, I checked out Friday afternoon. I was told to move on with my 2 children, husband, father and no where to stay. I had to book another home last minuet. He left us out, no where to stay, and yes his other guest did have a place to stay, I have text message to prove. I have text messages of him forcing us to share a pool area against Covid-19 regulations which would have put 7 people in one small area. Not to mention, causing me to clean constantly. Then, I ask for a refund, he refunded half the cost. Now understand, I had to repay for another property. This cost me double for my vacation. I signed a misleading contract promising privacy, literally bumped into guests who informed me of the shared home, was forced to find another home within 1 day for the safety of my family. The one day spent was fearful, risky, stressful, time consuming and a nightmare being out with no where to go, all because his contract was misleading. WARNING.. YOU WILL BE SHARING A SMALL POOL AREA. You will not have privacy. I have text messages and a contract proving. I am an accountant, my husband is in service industry, my father is a medical professional we all rented this home to relax with my children and found ourselves scrambling, stressed and overwhelmed. Owner also needs to read Covid-19 regulations before having groups of more then 7 share a small pool area.
