Start the day with coffee overlooking the water, launch a kayak from the property, spend the afternoon by the pool, grill dinner outside, then wind down in the hot tub.

SUNRISE TO SUNSET ON THE CANAL

One of our favorite things about Turtle Cove is the view.

Because of the home's position on the canal, you can enjoy views of BOTH the sunrise and sunset over the water when Florida's clouds cooperate. Grab your coffee and catch the morning light over the canal, then come back outside in the evening as the sky changes again.

The dock, lanai, pool area, and canal-side seating give you plenty of places to slow down and enjoy it.

WATERFRONT FUN

Turtle Cove sits directly on a freshwater Cape Coral canal, giving you your own little slice of Florida waterfront life.

Kayaks are provided so you can explore the canals right from the property. We've also added a dedicated kayak launch designed to make getting the kayaks into the water and getting in and out easier. It's especially helpful for guests who are newer to kayaking and might otherwise be a little hesitant about launching from a dock.

We also provide life jackets, fishing poles, and basic fishing gear for guests to enjoy.

Fishing is allowed from the property with the appropriate Florida fishing license.

Please note that Cape Coral's freshwater canals are part of a natural Florida ecosystem. Rare spotting of alligators are possible, so swimming or wading in the canal is strictly prohibited.

TURTLES, FRED & OUR WILD FLORIDA NEIGHBORS

Turtle Cove doesn't feel like a cookie-cutter Florida rental, and the wildlife is part of what makes this place so much fun.

Keep an eye on the canal and you'll often spot turtles swimming near the dock or popping their heads above the water. You'll see jumping fish, plenty of Florida birds, and maybe an iguana or two.

One particular iguana has become such a familiar face around here that we've named him Fred. If you spot a big iguana lounging around like he owns the place, there's a good chance you've met Fred.

And be sure to look for our tiny neighbors next door: burrowing owls! These little Florida owls live in underground burrows and are one of our favorite things to watch around the property.

Our own daughters fell in love with watching the turtles, kayaking, fishing, and looking for wildlife here, which is how Turtle Cove got its name.

Turtle Cove comfortably accommodates families and groups with a combination of spacious adult bedrooms and fun sleeping spaces for kids.

POOL SAFETY:

We know having a pool is wonderful with kids, but safety matters too. The sliding doors leading to the pool area have additional child-safety locks to help give parents an extra layer of protection.

Children must still be supervised at all times around the pool, hot tub, dock, and canal.

POOL + HOT TUB

The private pool is one of the stars of Turtle Cove, and unlike many Florida vacation rentals, we offer POOL HEAT FREE OF CHARGE.

Pool heat is available by request and is especially wonderful during Florida's cooler months.

Stretch out on one of the loungers, relax in the shallow tanning area, or let the kids splash while you enjoy the screened lanai.

The separate private hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, kayaking, fishing, or exploring Southwest Florida.

Please keep in mind that outdoor pool temperatures can be affected by unusually cold weather and other environmental conditions, so a specific water temperature cannot be guaranteed.

OUTDOOR KITCHEN + GRILLING

Vacation food tastes better outside.

Our outdoor entertaining area makes it easy to cook and hang out without leaving the pool and lanai behind. Enjoy an outdoor kitchen and propane grill, so whether you're making burgers after swimming or cooking up a full family dinner, you can stay right in the middle of the outdoor fun.

INSIDE TURTLE COVE

When it's time to come inside, you'll find a comfortable home designed for real vacations and real families.

There's plenty of room to spread out, gather for meals, relax after a long day, and let the kids have their own space.

The home includes a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas, Wi-Fi, laundry, extra blankets and pillows, and the everyday essentials you'll need for a relaxed stay.

Planning a beach day? We've tried to make that easier too.

Instead of buying or renting bulky beach gear after you arrive, Turtle Cove provides a beach setup for guests to use during their stay:

Turtle Cove gives you a peaceful waterfront home base while keeping you within reach of some of Southwest Florida's favorite destinations.

Spend the day exploring Cape Coral, head toward Fort Myers and the Gulf beaches, visit Sanibel, or explore the colorful shops, restaurants, and island atmosphere around Matlacha.

Then come home to your own pool, hot tub, dock, and canal instead of ending the day in a crowded hotel.

GOOD TO KNOW

Turtle Cove is located in a residential Cape Coral neighborhood, and we want our guests to enjoy themselves while also being great neighbors.

Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM. Parties and events are not permitted.

Children must be supervised around the pool, hot tub, dock, and canal at all times.

The canal is for kayaking and fishing only. No swimming or wading is permitted due to the possibility of alligators and other Florida wildlife.

Florida is tropical, which means you'll occasionally encounter insects, lizards, iguanas, and other wildlife even with regular pest-control service. That's part of life in Southwest Florida and especially around the water.
