« I was disappointed to find that despite what it said on the Hotels site the Red Lion did not organise parking if you phoned. I had to park 5 minutes walk away and thankfully it was not raining too hard. With no food at the pub food choices were a little limited but luckily there is a very good take away pizza shop 50 metres away. The breakfast I had was very good so no problems with that. »

« We had such a lovely week here. It was cold outside around 5 degrees but the cottage was lovely and warm. We wrapped up and went somewhere every day, just a short drive away. Poppit beach, with a cafe which sold amazing doughnuts. Aberporth and Mwnt beaches all lovely and dog friendly this time of year.We visited Cenarth Falls which was lovely and walked from Llechryd to Cilgerran along the river. We had fish and chips from the local chip shop which were great. Coming back to Woodpecker Rest...
