„The location was beautiful and remote. I felt a little silly because I had forgot to download my driving instructions prior to getting to the cottage (no Internet signal!). But I was graciously given them again with no problem and a follow up text from my host. He made it easy. Everything felt homey, comfortable and easy. I loved it as a secluded getaway and the hot tub and trails were lovely perks. “

The homeowners built this guest house on their property and did a fantastic job of creating a cozy getaway. From the clean design to efficient use of space, we thoroughly enjoyed the four days we spent there. „Cleaned everything except sheets and was charged extra for not washing sheets ( stripped bed and left sheets in tub with towels as per hotels ) but no washer and dryer. 4pm checkin and 10am checkout seems like the host is prioritizing the cleaning crew over the guests. Instructions mention cottage although the room appears to be a half carport walled in under a house.“

„Overall this property is excellent. Wood floors throughout make cleaning easy, living room seating fairly comfortable, beds were very comfortable, bathrooms updated/excellent and access to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea or Highway 1 is easy. Quiet neighborhood and very friendly and helpful next door neighbor!
