« We were very happy with how easy it was to get to this location, the cleanliness of the place and the comfort of the bed and pillows! An amazing bang for your buck as the hotel rooms down the street were $300/night more....without a kitchen! Easy to get to Monterey and Carmel without the congestion of the towns. We also went kayaking at the Elkhorn Slough...about a 10 min drive!! We will be back, without a doubt!!! »

« We had an amazing time on our family vacation to Carmel. The Pocket residence was in a perfect location walking distance to everything. The apartment was beautiful, welcoming and very comfortably accommodated our immediate and extended family members to be a central hub to hang out the entire duration of our stay. Everyone enjoyed the golf simulator and accompanying games as well! So fun! »

I would highly recommend using this location and exploring Carmel Valley as a potential alternative to staying in Monterey, as we found the location perfect for what we needed and it is close enough to Monterey if you still want to visit. « This unit is small but quite suitable for a couple/individual. It's very close to Lover's Point and the Ocean Blvd walking path. We walked over to Lighthouse Ave Starbucks and enjoyed the beautiful historical homes along the way. We also walked to the Grove easily for supplies. The only problem for us was not enough heat. The portable heater was fine in the bedroom. »

« Second time at Carmel woods location. Enjoyable. Weather was challenging with wind and rain. I was there as a volunteer for the Pebble Beach AT&T. Electricity went off in the area for at least 24 hours - tournament was called. »

« Where should I start! We booked for three weeks and we only received one set of towels. Really! The bottom sheet on the bed was the wrong size or depth and we ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. I went out and bought a set of sheets! We have family in the area So we borrowed towels from them. The drain in the shower got clogged and the owner asked us to clean it out. Apparently it must happen all the time and he has done nothing to correct the problem. The draw that the silverware...

« Me and my Wife stayed here for a week and we had a great time. The owner communicated everything with us. It just a little past the main city which was nice it made the stay nice and quiet. »

« This very sweet motel is smack dab in the middle of Carmel Valley close to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. It is extremely convenient, safe, and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to try to make your stay as wonderful as possible. They are very generous with Keurig pods, water, and little things that are nice to have in a motel like wine opener and cheese knife. Don't hesitate to stay in this truly lovely motel. »
