Beyond, guests have full access to the six-acre enclosed grounds, making it a safe and spacious haven for children and dogs to explore. On-site shared facilities include a tennis court, gym, and a bookable hot tub, available for private use daily from 10 am to 10 pm.

Just a stone’s throw beyond the estate, the Angus coastline invites exploration. Within walking distance, the sandy beaches of East Haven and West Haven offer rock pools, shallow waters, and picturesque walks. Historic East Haven, one of Scotland’s oldest fishing villages, is full of charm and natural beauty. A little further along the coast, Carnoustie offers shops, pubs, and cafés, as well as its world-famous championship golf course.

With the town just a short walk or bike ride away, Gardener’s Cottage is a perfect base for discovering the best of the coast—without needing the car.
