« Lovely cottage and great location. Well stocked and appreciated the wine and Maltesers on arrival. The only negative I would give is the bathroom. It could do with upgrading and I was worried the toilet would stop working but it didn't. »

« Fabulous stay at this cottage in picturesque scenery! Great and comfortable place with stunning views from the conservatory. Ideal spot for visits to St Andrews and the Fife region. Very kind hosts who supplied us with eggs, milk, cheese, bread, and even short bread. Definitely a recommendation! »

« We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cottage. The (almost) private beach is very easy to reach via a field and there is absolute peace and quiet - great for relaxing. Helen & Ross are great hosts with lots of tips for exploring the surrounding area. »

« Stay was really good. Property was easy to find and locate. Leigh-Anne gave us detailed instructions of how to locate key for property and some nice welcome touches when we arrived.Place is beautifully decorated and kept and right next to the beach which was ideal for the dog.Would highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a nice quiet relaxing break away. »

« This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. We were there with 7 people, two children 4 & 7, one young adult, and two couples. It worked very well for us. The only slightly negative thing I had to say was the loft room has a toilet but no shower and the kitchen area was...

« We really enjoyed our stay at Birnie House Cottage and Aileen and Bob really made us feel welcome. They were so helpful and kind, always helping to plan our outings. The cottage was very cosy and we also loved the garden, the squirrels, the walk in the woods with the dogs... Also conveniently located for trips to Edinburgh, Perth, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and lots of castles. Thanks a lot and hope to see you again! »

« Had a wonderful Grad- Birthday here with family and two small dogs. Courtyard garden and side garden fully enclosed. Cottage well kitted out with kitchen utensils etc. Gillian and Michael excellent hosts and phoned before we arrived during and when leaving to ensure all was going well. Lovely thoughtful welcome back of croissants and shortbread. Just what was required after a long journey. Would highly recommend as beautiful walks around estate all mainly on the flat. Central to all locations...

 on entendait les conversations fenĂȘtres fermĂ©es des personnes passant sur le trottoir et le bruit insupportable du traffic routier. Produit de nettoyage prĂ©sent dans la salle de bains
 fallait il nettoyer sa salle d’eau ? Prestations petit dĂ©jeuner pas Ă  la hauteur du prix. Et en plus on doit payer le parking !"
