Perfect house for our family gathering. Kitchen was well supplied (even had sharp knives!) and everything was super clean; easy beach access; and lots of spread out space for our multi-aged group. Our hosts responded quickly to our questions and made good suggestions. It was a great stay that was too short.

When we entered the property there were 3 dead cockroaches/palmetto bugs on the floor in main level. A few hours later while closing front curtain a live one ran down the curtain in the front bedroom. There was no electricity working in the room with bunk beds and in the upstairs master bathroom. I called itrip and left detailed message. Never got a return call. We eventually found breaker box and were able to figure it out and fix it ourselves. On back deck off main living room the railing to the far right at the lower portion has dry rotted and is wobbly and unsafe. The upstairs master comforter shed a bunch of sand onto the bed when my daughter got into the bed. The couch pillows sent a cloud of dust into the air when patted. The window in the main level master has a bush/tree up against it that scratches against it when the wind blows and makes a screeching sound, and it was very windy our second night there.

Place location was absolutely perfect and as advertised. So happy to not have to clean up on check in as everything was perfect. Check in and check out was easy. House is well stocked for our meal preps. Great place for family vacation for the week. Would definitely recommend.

Although our time with family and friends was great, the property itself was a big disappointment! First of all, the pictures shown on VRBO were not accurate at all. The house was very worn and outdated including indoor/outdoor furniture, old carpet, a dishwasher that did not work, missing pieces of blinds, lights that didn't work, a broken walk out dock to the beach, ancient wifi that didn't work our whole stay and finally had a technician come our second to last day to fix it and some other things. The house is sandwiched between 2 other houses and the one was new construction so they were out there early in the morning making all sorts of noise. Furthermore, the house is split into 2 living units so there will likely be others occupying the other half of the house which wasn't in the main description on VRBO. To top it off, we received a text from the property managers/owners at the end of our stay (because they KNEW how bad it was) offering us a 200 credit to not leave a negative review. This is very deceptive! When we booked this house, the reviews were great and pictures looked very nice, but it wasn't true as I wonder how many of those reviews were people who accepted a little "incentive?" We wouldn't stay here again even if they gave it to us for free!

Great vacation, property could use some TLC

We had a great 4 days at the beach! Property was in a good location, convenient to Carolina Beach boardwalk and downtown restaurants. Property managers were very responsive and we even got an early check-in. My only complaints have to do with broken chairs (kitchen and upper deck), lack of chairs (1 broken chair on upper deck), rusty nails on walkway to the beach, wrought iron furniture with no cushions, stained cushions on sofa, etc. Just seems like the amenities can use a little TLC.

Very well equipped house!

Gorgeous view. Great to be able to walk out to the beach There were 13 of us and all felt comfortable sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped with all kinds of extras like an electric tea kettle. We could have used more forks and spoons but that could be easily fixed. The last day the ice machine went out so that will need to be addressed. Other than that it was a wonderful place to stay. Be aware that there are other folks staying in another part of the house and parking is very tight!!

We like most everything. Small things that could have been viewed as negative were overshadowed by the positives We loved the beach access and lots of parking spaces. Neighborhood was nice as well. We would stay again for sure.

No Oven

My overall impression was Good. Nice house which reflects the time it was built or renovated. It showed signs of wear which happens with a rental property. The house was clean which I credit to the cleaning staff, excellent job. The beach was great and that’s why I chose a beachfront property. If you are considering this property please read and heed the prior reviews! Since this unit 1 is first and half of the second floor it has its own issues. As mentioned in a prior review, you are subject to the banging, bouncing and running of footsteps on the stairs of the second floor. When the upstairs guests arrived at 11:30 at night and had to run up & downstairs to bring in luggage & weekend supplies it was an annoyance. Also in a prior review - the oven does not work ! But that review was over a year ago! As soon as we found the oven did not work I remembered that review, those poor guest were there for Thanksgiving. Although I noted and recorded the many other minor damage and issues and contacted the management company I had given up by this time. The last item although not major was just another annoyance, the charcoal grill and ash bucket were both full of the previous users used coal and dust. Although the management company did offer to come over; I did not want to burden the on call worker on Labor Day weekend for this issue. So since I’m running out of text. Managers do your job. Pay attention to the property as much as the contract. I will not use VRBO again

GREAT LOCATION

The north end of Carolina beach is a great location. We enjoyed Going to Carolina Beach Prier for dinner one night, great food! It was fun going to Celtic Creamery, so close!! Glad there were beach chairs there. That was handy. Outdoor shower area was beautiful.

Incredible stay!!!

Property was beautiful, view incredible, so comfortable and the host was great communicator!!! Highly recommend!!!! The little market across the street also had incredible egg sandwiches and French toast!!!! Hidden gem!!!!

Beach Vacation Bonanza

Our 3 families of 3 generations meet every year to enjoy a week of sun, fun and conversation. Catching up is always fun and being together in this house makes it so special. Beachfront property is a special experience.

Nice Carolina beach location, beware of parking issues

Awesome location, property a good fit to host group of 10-12, equipped kitchen. Grill is less practical, living room can seat 6 adults. We struggled waiting in pouring rain to get inside our designated parking spot, property managers were not reachable (only text). Other than this painful experience, everything else was as advertised and good. We will visit again.

Amazing Grace

My Family enjoyed an Amazing weekend at this property. A great open floor plan with Beautiful views of the ocean. The beds slept well, very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and plenty of space for family. The host was excellent and very responsive with easy check in. We are looking forward to returning to this property!!

Great location!

This property is on a spacious, lovely section of beach with great opportunities for jumping waves, boogey boarding and fishing. Plus it's out of the traffic congestion you find south of the boardwalk. Our large family all loved it! Clean space and pleasant layout with a great ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms. The property management company was very communicative and friendly . ONE CAVEAT: You are occupying the first and second floor. The third floor floor is occupied by people renting the neighboring duplex. Be prepared for lots of foot noise overhead. We had to listen to children jumping out of their bunk beds at 6:00 a.m. Even so, this did not lessen our enjoyment of the vacation. Just be prepared for that and bring earplugs.
